Well, I could have spent several days (or weeks) trying to build and refine a guitar for a 20 second shot. Or I could pay five dollars for the model I need and only have (had) to figure out how to get it in game.

The model is actually really nice and detailed, but I used the Optimize modifier to reduce the sheer size of it. I'll take a look at the normals thingy, thanks.

Detact it, like the face of it, and the curved bits, calculate the normals and reattach = bahzing, decent normals. If that doesn't make any sense, (And I don't blame you if it doesn't) send it to me and i'll fix it up in Zmod

Batman's head and torso finally finished. The new eyes and face texture, and the torso texture really do make a difference, as does the slight modifying of his head and torso.

The Glock looks fantastic. In game, it seems a little iffy though. Maybe it's my screen.

Trying to make a low poly-ish AI super magnum. Barrel is just temp for now and undecided whether to add two rows of pollies for the underneath, or just keep it as a single row. I know the scalling is off, its a bit too thick right now.

Also making a higher poly model, but its giving me grief as it has so many curves in the stock.

@Ceedj's Guitar: If your using 3DS Max you need to unsmooth it, then reasign the smoothing groups. That should fix it.


Made a Rockstar 3D logo, for my signature. Dint know where to put it, so im puting it here. I think its pretty nice, tho i liked it to have more reflection-ish.

Made soemthing new . Since the original keyblade on GTAGarage was kinda sucky, and someone requested to make something similar for SA. Made this in 30 minutes. Imo, its a bit short, maybe ill make it a bit longer. Textures should be symple, since the main parts are chrome and gold (gtamatherial reflections). I also tryd something new for a WIP render, and i guess it worked out pretty good.




Edit: Forgot to to say what the polycount was : 1396

That thing (the big key) looks good... very detailed. I would do it more lowpoly... some details wont be saw, you know. Nice model though.
