I am on the final missions so I have more than enough respect yet I can not recruit fellow gang members. I am playing on the PC version....is it that I am not wearing actuall gang duds, or prehaps that I don't have enough muscle? Strange thing when my respect meter pops up upon gaing more respect the green bar exceeds the white part...as tho the actuall meter isn't growing with the respect gained.....if anyone can help I would appreciate it....thanks.

well i never heard of this being a problem, aim ur autoaim at a gang member and press up. That's how u do it on ps2 version. I'm not sure if its up that you press on the computer. But im pretty sure. About the clothes or muscle no you dont have to wear them to recruit gang members, but i think it does bring up your repsect temporarily if you are wearing green, like fany clothes brings up your sex appeal. Let me know if that helps any.

Don't some of the beginning missions require you to recruit homies? Gang clothes and muscle have nothing to do with recruiting. The part with the green bar exceeding the white line always happens to me when I gain more respect. On my PS2 I couldn't recruit homies sometimes, because I had cheats on, but that never happens on my PC version, because I never used cheats. Are you using cheats?

I am not using cheats.....also it won't let me work out anymore...this is a real frag as that the mission I am on requires me to recruit gang members......whatever mission that is called.

also....do I have to waste drug dealers, a lot of my gang members are smoking blunts and drinking........

Well as for your gym glitch you can read here. I dont think there is a solid fix for this glitch. And i have never heard of anybody having trouble recruiting gang members, you may have run across a new glitch, i could be wrong tho. And just shoot the drug dealers, thats pretty simple. Hopefully somebody around here has run into the same thing and they know how to fix that for you
