Narics; I have abit of help or advice. When I use the Magic wand to cut-out most objects or images.. it cuts them out precisely, but I seem to always have a small white border around most of the image and/or text. I was curious if there was a way to rid of that, or do I have to go in manually and erase it? I'll post something to show an example. (Unless it's because most of the images I use have a white or bright background and the wand only comes within so close of edges, not so sure. Any advice is welcome.
Image of a cut-out that I made which shows border;

Is it possibly due to the tolerance that I have my wand set at? I have no clue. |
There are a few ways you could get rid of it. The easiest would be to add in an inner stroke to cover up the fringes. Or you could go to the Layer menu, and under Matting there's a Defringe option. Though this will give you mixed results, depending on the size and color of your picture. As you can see, it kind of messed up the edges, and didn't remove all the fringes. But, like I said, it doesn't always work very well. Of course it is possible that you could adjust the tolerance of the magic wand to get rid of them along with the background. It all depends on the picture.

I like the logo Double L, very simple yet somewhat powerful. I made a custom Vice City logo also.

Is there any tutorial here on how to make that?? it looks amazing. nice work! | I'd guess no.
Thats just Xtremes 's art style. I'm sure he'd teach you how to make a similar logo, though.
Anyone know where I can get Battlefield 3 brushes? i.e.; The orange/yellow light streaks?

Sure I can help you out...by providing you with the same tutorial Narcis gave me a while ago.
First type a normal text.

Create a 2 px white outer stroke. I personally use a 1 px white stroke on most fonts so it doesn't look so fat.

Go to Layer->Layer Style->Create Layer, this way you will separate the stroke from the text Click on the text layer while holding Ctrl, your text layer will be selected, it should look like this:

Now select the white outer stroke and delete it, after this process you will have the border from the text...

Now select the text border and add a 2 px color or gradient, for this tutorial I choose a light blue color.

Again go to Layer->Layer Style->Create Layer, to separate blue stroke from the white text.
Duplicate the blue outline, select the blue stroke that is under all (at the bottom of other layers) then go to Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur... (for my tutorial I choose 4,4)

Now play with effects, select the blue outline that is not blured and add blend mode to:
Vivid light.

or Overlay.

Put some stars on it.

Final product:

This is how the layer window should look in the end.
