Hello folks, can any of you help me track down a particular tutorial site? I remember it had pages and pages of video tutorials, some presented by a man, some by a woman. The man covered the basics of 3d in Photoshop in the few videos I saw, including one where he added a sun and sunrays to a photo of a forest, one where he created some kind of movie effect using the words "Blue Steel" and there was another where he created a text effect with Smart Objects for the cover of a winter sports / snowboarding magazine.

The site itself was mostly dark, maybe with a little red and possibly stars or something space-related in the background. That's not a lot to go on is it? I found the site through Google when a friend asked for help with 3d in Photoshop a few weeks ago and now he's asked for the link again and I'm stumped. No amount of history searching or Googling is turning anything up so far. If anybody knows the site I mean from my pathetic description they probably aren't human, but it's worth a shot.

It isn't a jellyfish. I add a thing called "UFO".

kmlwin, it' very cool, dude. I really like the light effect you used, and with these colors it looked even better.
Try to improve the quality of the image a little bit, it looks blurred in some parts.

Do any 3ds Max adept knows what is happening here with my model?

I just added a symmetry and TurboSmooth - and the problem seems to be in the TS. In the render it looks even odder.

By the way, it's a Dodge Challenger model I'm doing for my presentation at the end of my course. It will be rendered at the highest quality possible and I'll add some effects with Photoshop later.
And if I can, I'll make a Shelby or a Camaro, don't know yet.

Does anyone have a link to a GIMP tut for making images swivel? For example, some of the avatars Narcis makes have an image swiveling around. Is there a way to do this in GIMP? I couldn't find any tuts, though I might not be searching for the right thing.
