Not sure if this find has been posted already, but when you're browsing the map, hold X to be able to see the Unique jumps, Rampages or Red balloons you've already discovered, as blips on the map.
I'll get back to this post later, when I've played more.

I got the game, and while I haven't played long enough to notice any cons, I'll post some interesting facts.
- There are numerous deli's and clothing stores across Downtown (enterable, but there is really nothing to do in them).
- The draw distance really is better than VC's (you can see the buildings from Downtown lit up all the way from Ft. Baxter)
- Entering buildings works the same way as San Andreas, except the triangle markers are blue this time around.
- Your first safehouse is a military barracks and it's quite spacious (unlike your first apartment from LCS).
- Despite some reviews stating that Vice City is very dark at night, I find it to be about the same as LCS (but I have my PSP's brightness up, so...).
- Many buildings now have neon lights.
- The start menu is pretty much the same as LCS, only instead of a totally black background, it's now dark purple with black palm trees.
- The bridges leading to Prawn Island, Ocean Beach, etc. are once again closed due to a hurricane warning (the only other island accessable is Starfish Island).
Sorry if this isn't the type of info you're looking for, but hey, I tried.
Now on to Mission #2....
Edit: - You can only climb out of water; no ledge/wall climbing.
- Our beloved mansion, "Vercetti Estates" is still under construction, and instead of a white Infernus spawning outside, a white Cheetah spawns outside.

My rating: 100/100
Why did I give a perfect score you ask? Because it's just a great-ass game. Sure, some issues can be an annoyance, such as the close quarters combat, and some minor pop up issues, but, has this stopped us from loving the previous GTA's? Nope.
For one, there's the Empire Building mode. IMO, this is the greatest addition to the game. There are TONS of businesses to take over, and after you take over a certain number of them, you can start to receive (no collecting little money icons at business fronts here - all earnings are sent directly to you) a LOT of cash. Plus, you can save at these locations and when you enter them, you can walk up to an employee and do missions for your business, and increase your profits, and make a reputation. The only downside to this IMO is that the gangs you take these properties from will attack you on sight, and personally, I don't like to randomly be attacked.
Another good thing is the draw distance. Much better than VC, and you can even see buildings lit up from all the way across the bay. Many buildings from VC now have neon lights, which can also be seen from quite a distance. Just adds to the 80's atmosphere IMO.
Jet-Ski's are awesome. They actually control better than I thought and are just a blast to ride.
There are a ton of new vehicles.
Storyline. Some websites claim that the storyline and characters sucked. I beg to differ. While I don't want to spoil any plot details, just let me tell you that the missions are a hell of a lot of fun, and there are plenty of interesting characters to keep you entertained for hours upon hours.
Last but not least, Soundtrack. I've only got 2 words to describe the fully licenced and diverse soundtrack: f*cking Awesome.
Closing statements: If you're a GTA fan and have a PSP, just buy the game. There may be some carried over bugs and glitches, but all in all it doesn't really detract from what IMO is an amazing gaming experience; console or handheld.
