I love returning to the city that started it all (in 3D) it has a great look, is still being developed in some places but still has that dark and realistic feel to it.

All GTA games have some sort of draw back and I'm sure I could list a few especially LCS but why bother? I'd rather enjoy the game on its own merits.

I hated the storyline the most. It was boring. No climax, no surprises, just a whole bunch of "stories" (maybe that's what R* intended, but it didn't work well for me )

I hate tonis bike skill he easily fall off even its not a fast speed i hit a wall,gate or fence he still fell off not like CJ or Tommy
Toni Easily Die Even with Armor Damn Damn Damn i got many times i die without cheats.
The Money System i dont get a greater amount of money like San Andreas Its always $4000 or less but not $10000 over except for Sicilian Gambit
No Buying Properties
No Assets Except for Harwood Autos when you unlock the hellenbach gt
Some Stocks are missing at Ammunation/Phil Cassidys like MP5,Stubby Shotgun,Spaz,Colt 357,M60,Ingram,Tec-9 and etc.

There is more than 1 asset in the game, you unlock more when you complete the Pizza and Noodle delivery missions.

Like saintdave said, I just enjoy the game the way it is. Sure there is lots of things that could of made it better, but its an enjoyable game anyway, why look down on bad things in it?

There are more assets to unlock. The Donald Love media garage, the bike shop, the punk noodle stand and the pizza shop all become assets.

Love Media Rewards are the PCJ-600 and the V8 Ghost I never knew that about assets

Well, I'm nearly certain it became an asset. Can't remember now. You've put doubts in my mind.

But the bike shop, the punk noodle shop and the pizza shop definitly are. Along with the car showroom, as you pointed out.

I don't know how fair it is to compare PS2 and PSP games on level ground; even the PS2 port of LCS is what it is - a port. LCS was designed to be GTA on the go, and for that goal it succeeded immensely.

Toni is awesome. There are enough elements of Vice's and SA's advances in the GTA experience to make it not just a GTA3 clone. The radio was indeed a disappointment, although a few changes when certain events happen a la SA was a nice touch. I dig the hitmen coming after you, as easy as they are to kill, and the police aggressiveness mentioned earlier is a big plus. It sucks you can't swim or climb, but at the same time, that's what made SA a bit too easy at times (yet still very fun).

There was only one thing I hated.

Most of the cutscene animations.

Cutscenes are supposed to have them moving around and acctually moving their mouth. However, most of LCS's cutscenes were... How should I put this. Cheap feeling.

Other then that, best portable for it's time.
Although it's gotta make room for VCS now.

LIKE:

-I kind of enjoyed the story, but it could have been better.
-the recreation of Liberty City.(ex-Ft.staunton before & after)

Dislike:

-Toni's bike skills( even at low speeds, he flies off)
-The weird characters(JD O'Toole, Giovanni Casa)

Otherwise, LCS was a all-around "worth it" game for me.

($20 bucks for PS2, good buy )

JD and Giovanni were great. I love Rockstar's deranged character creations. The JD cutscenes (especially him in the S&M outfit where he tries to hug Toni) are the stuff of GTA legend.

Actually, I just didn't like Vincenzo Cilli, he was an a**hole.

I could tolerate JD and Casa, but I disliked Vincenzo.

The other characters were great.

I especially liked the more psychotic,cannabilistic Donald Love in contrast to his GTA III self.

lol, yea i guess that was a surprise.

but the way it was presented was so shallow. and it wasnt a fully animated cutscene. i hated how some cutscenes were just "half-animated"... no movielike atmosphere. boring

if only the characters were more developed. i think one simple way (but of course takes time and money) is to make more cutscenes. most of them in LCS were superficially done. vincenzo's death shouldve been portrayed like smoke or tenpenny's death.

I'm not sure Toni would be nearly sympathetic to Vincenzo's death as CJ was to Smoke.

Hopefully VCS will have no half-animated cutscenes.
