| QUOTE (Snares @ Jan 28 2006, 11:40) | Since the beggining of human society, pornography and sexual stimulants have been around. People have pleasured themselves with such things, and for the most part, I has been clean (if there is such a thing). But, in the past century, pornography has begun a slow, downward slope into disguisting perversion and animalism. Many awful words have been used to describe women, and the things that take place during intercourse. Words, like bitch, or whore, or slut, or even c**t (words so morphed I tend not to say them), have been used to objectify women, and I'm tired of it...
Until the sex industry has changed, I suggest all men on this board refrain from watching hardcore pornography, especially sites and magazines that objectify women in a dishonest, mean and crude way.
Sex and love are beutiful things, but we have made it into a comodity.
Remember my words...
Peace. | like you really arent making any sense... how ppl want to express their sexual identity is there bussiness (as long as it is within the confines of the law) and your painting people as divents when it isnt any of u bussiness or concern women are being degraded? well..... 1. its not against their will 2. it is there chosen profession 3. many ppl find sexual satisfaction out of being degraded jut like you find it in labelling ppls preferences as disgusting 4. ur acting like a porn boy-cot would "save" these women well in fact you would be taking away their lively hood (whooo...PORN)

Porn makes everybody happpy, 1. The actors, they have good sex and make money, what could be better. 2. The viewers, they enjoy themselfs with these things and like it and dont consider it wasted money.
EVERYBODY IS HAPPY, PORN IS GOOD. BTW, porn is not going anywhere any time soon, deal with it.

Whether you watch porn or not, you like it or not, there IS some really sick and degrading sh*t around, things that shouldn't even be thinked of.
I see no art in porn. I do understand people who watch porn in a regular basis but it can become vicious very easily. And if you say that it is peoples fault if they become addicted to porn, it's the same as saying it's peoples fault if they become addicted to drugs, so you are complete idiot.
As far as my concept goes Nudism != Porn. Nudism can be an art indeed.
But in the end it is whatever people want to do, and you guys here are defending porn, which I agree with, and flaming the topic starter, where I fail to see the necessity to do so.

If you start taking drugs, and get addicted to them, whose fault is it supposed to be? Drugs themselves? Drug dealers? That's the kind of mentality that leads to the war on drugs, which creates an environment where honest businesses cannot compete with mobs. Government might as well just hand money to the drug lords, and all because it's the drugs' fault, and people who got addicted had no responsibility in it whatsoever.

| QUOTE (K^2 @ Mar 25 2006, 23:35) | | Humans choose to be tied to a single mate. Male needs to make sure that his female is only insemenated by him. In modern society that means that every male expects his female to be faithful to him. Since we have a 1:1 ratio, this means that the only way to have that is if each male is pared of with one female. | I was thinking about this, and it is true, to a certain extent. Because it's better if your brother has 15 children than both of you having 5 each in terms of survival of your specific genes since there is very little difference between the genes you have and the genes of your brother. And we have very close to a 1:1 ratio, but there are more men able to reproduce than women, thanks to menopause and longer life spans. Extending the point of your brother vs. yourself. Your genes would also get passed on if your father got more tail. Or your cousin. Or any other human being. Or any humanoid. Or any mammal. Or any living being. oh... I wished to add this: | QUOTE (wikipedia "animal sexuality") | Animal sexual behavior takes many different forms, even within the same species. Researchers have observed monogamy, promiscuity, sex between species, sexual arousal from objects or places, rape, copulation with dead animals, homosexual, heterosexual and bisexual sexual behaviour, and situational sexual behaviour and a range of other practices among animals other than humans. Related studies have noted diversity in sexed bodies and gendered behaviour, such as intersex and transgender animals.
The study of animal sexuality (and primate sexuality especially) is a rapidly developing field. It used to be believed that only humans and a handful of species performed sexual acts other than for procreation, and that animals' sexuality was instinctive and a simple response to the "right" stimulation (sight, scent). Current understanding is that many species believed monogamous have now been proven to be promiscuous or opportunistic in nature, a wide range of species appear to both masturbate and to use objects as tools to help them do so, in many species animals try to give and get sexual stimulation with others where procreation is not the aim, and homosexual behavior has now been observed among 1,500 species, and in 500 of those it is well documented.[1] |
