Since the beggining of human society, pornography and sexual stimulants have been around. People have pleasured themselves with such things, and for the most part, I has been clean (if there is such a thing). But, in the past century, pornography has begun a slow, downward slope into disguisting perversion and animalism. Many awful words have been used to describe women, and the things that take place during intercourse. Words, like bitch, or whore, or slut, or even c**t (words so morphed I tend not to say them), have been used to objectify women, and I'm tired of it...
Until the sex industry has changed, I suggest all men on this board refrain from watching hardcore pornography, especially sites and magazines that objectify women in a dishonest, mean and crude way.
Sex and love are beutiful things, but we have made it into a comodity.
Remember my words...
Peace.

I think you're missing a few steps there. First of all, 99% of pornography out there is staged. Which means everything you see is a part of those people's jobs. Everybody's jobs has some element(s) they may not like, but do for the money.
You're also ignorantly blaming something a person could come in contact with for altering their actions. If a man starts referring to women en masse as c*nts because he saw somebody do that in a film, it was that man's decision. Not the porn.
Another thing you're assuming is that those that partake of porn get into the hardcore stuff to begin with. I for one don't. To me, the female form is art and usually just photographs of the better examples of that are good enough. Point being that pornography is an entire industry and only a few aspect of it engage in the language you're referring to.
Which brings me to my next point. Pornography can have lots of different aims. It could just be an attractive female, an attractive female nude, people engaging in sexual acts... The list goes on and on. What constitutes attractive? It's a matter of taste. That's the point. While I myself am disgusted by human waste pics/vids, their prevalance would indicate that this is a fetish that some people enjoy. Just because we don't find ourselves getting into certain things doesn't mean we're in a position to judge others that do. Just as they would not be entitled to judge us for something we do or enjoy so long as it's not hurting anybody (that didn't deserve it ).
So no, my habits in pornography will not be changing anytime soon. Sorry.

Ha, you're talking to the guy on these forums that probably looks at porn the most Anyways, porn is a type of art. Is it art that is displayed in a museam (sp?)? No, it is art that you can access almost anywhere to enjoy. When you look at porn, you enjoy yourself. Why? Well, I always have thought that if their boobs or ass were always seen, and maybe their arms or legs were covered, would it make you horny to see the arms or legs? Well, I don't think that has to do with anything, but porn is out there, and you can't stop it. All porn is fake. I mean, people don't have camera crews come to your house and tape you while you are doing it then put it on the internet. Everyone who is in porn gets paid good money, and if they stay in the porn business, they obviesly are enjoying their job. I mean, who wouldn't? Get cash for getting laid? Lol

Well, I don't watch hardcore porn anyway. It might just be me, but seeing a guys dick on the screen while I'm trying to jerk it doesn't cut it for me (OMG! HE jErKS!!!!).
Anyway, you gotta understand, different people have different sexual desires. Some are into the "harder" stuff. I really can't say more, since theres really nothing more to say. Some people like it rough. Of course if we're talking abut women here and them being mistreated. Well, they participated in those movies out of their own freewill. Besides, some women like rough sex.

New way? Porns always been the same, or was there ever a change that I missed?

This is obviously an issue of morality for you, but let me ask you something, which stage of human history are you using as a benchmark for your ideas on sexual morality?

Peace. | What makes you think there wasn't degrgation of women in Roman times, and even earlier than that? You do know what a concubine is, don't you? Ever heard of a harem? It's not like mistreatment of women is a modern invention of the 20th century. I mean, certainly calling a woman a bitch or a c*nt is worse than calling her a witch, jizzabelle, or any other insult that could possibly end with her being murdered several hundred years ago.
As Dem also brought up, a lot of these movies are staged, and these woman are agreeing to be insulted in that way for money. Sure, there might be some kind of market for that sort of sh*t that's being created, but certainly calling women bad names is worse than brutally murdering and beating them, like we would do several hundred years ago.

I think porn is educational, nobody is more clued-up on the mechanics of sex than porn fiends. Most of the people I know who are in to really hardcore twisted stuff have, how can I put this, strong enough minds to not let it taint their personalities. Have you ever discussed porn with mates? I used to do it at school all the time. Its great to have such open minded friends, talking about it in a social environment (IRC will do) is a way of keeping things in context. No its not weird, its the most long-lasting conversation topic of all time, period. The looks on people's faces as they walk past is pretty entertaining too.
What the f*ck was I about to type... Oh yeah, the whole "porn situation" in society today is fine. Even when someone underaged gets ahold of a porn tape (I remember mine, someone taped off sky 1, some quality sh*t there) they know they have to be secretive about it, they know they shouldn't have it, and they know its R-18. With this, they know that what they are going to see is on the edge of "acceptability", and interpret it as such. They sort of censor it themselves.
Granted, excessive porn viewing is going to be bad for you. It might cause people to become pedos, but I think that is probably more the fault of /b/ and not getting laid for ages.
Only a total c*nt would be mean to a girl in real life after seeing porn. I don't know really, maybe he's just trying to recreate the porn film in real life, since it ended with him getting his freak on for 30 minutes straight. Im not a shrink.
Thanks for reading. My closing statement: Porn didnt cause sexual thought, sexual thought created porn. (Bill Hicks)
Edit: Woah, I almost forgot: I love porn. Just, for the record.

I think the way you were raised (or not raised as the case may be) decides whether you'll be a pedofile or not. I don't think watching too much porn can cause you to do anything you didn't already have a desire to do. Myself for example. I watch a lot of porn. Everyday. At home, at work, at school. Most of the time not even to masterbate. I just like watching it. I've seen all sort of things on video. Softcore, hardcore, facials, slapping, S&M, internal, throwing up, pooping, you name it, I've probably see it. And I'll go through phases of what can get me off. Right now it's facials, before it was lesbians, who knows what it'll be next. But even through all of this, I've held health relationships with various females and never felt the need to re-inact the things I've seen. I don't care how many times I see a girl gagging and throwing up on video, I'm never going to want to do that in real life. Hell, I'm not too fond of anal in real life, but I love watching it on tape. Maybe not all people can seperate real life from fiction. But that's their own fault. Not porn's.
