CJ must have a bad elbow or something: while on a motorbike, he can just shot forwards or sideways; but every cop and/or pedestrian (chased by cops) can shot backwards and/or side-backwards. I was 'racing' against a cop in a bike and he shot me almost from anywhere (from front to back), that's not fair, I could only shot him while he's in front or at one side.
And if you have a SMG or any other machine gun (Tec 9 and similar) and you get on a Mountain bike or BMX, you can see that he carries the weapon in one hand, but he can't use it...

You can shoot forward and drive-by to either side on a bicycle while holding a SMG or machine pistol. It's Circle on PS2 that fires forwards; don't know for sure about XBox or PC.

It's probably their default fire buttons just like on PS2.

same goes for cars. Why cant you shoot a pistol in car? Picture rolling up behind a biker and cappinmg his head with the silenced psitol
Also i think you should be able to shoot forward - smash the windscreen and fire hehe. But hey, then's the breaks, theres always the aim whilst driving cheat

my bad... On PC, the default key for a drive-by is Ctrl. so when on a bike, it does the buny hop, so after reading what Mainland Marauder wrote I went on a try and found that when on bike, the key for the drive-by is Alt.

I wonder how it is that even a motorbike has radio, but the Bandit (the one like a Buggy) doesn't... and I this time I tried to find another key.

Hey I just noticed that when you get a full 6 start wanted level standard cops i.e redneck types and then next to them you have the army..... not very convincing hmmm?

They'll be the cowboy cops if you're in a rural area; otherwise there will be city cops in addition to the army, FBI and SWAT.

I just noticed something veeery strange:
If you shoot (with enough force to instantly kill) the pool player in a bar, he will run around for a few seconds, with his health indicator black, and then fall on his face with a "CRACK", as if hit by a car! Also, you can't blow his head off - pity, the effect would've been really cool, like a beheaded chicken.

I noticed that when you shoot the guy in Ammu Nation with a Sniper Rifle, he won't die instantly, after about three seconds he'll die.

I had somethng like that happened to me with a chick ped in SF.
I shot her then she ran and kept shooting her in the head when the icon was black
i stop and she runs more then falls.

Sorry about this semi-bump (no pun intended!) But I was just floating around whetstone on my jetpack,with a few police heli's on my tail. I decided to shake them off by flying through a large grouping of trees. After all if I cant fly through the trees,shorly they cant. Well guess what? Theyt wentstraight through like nothing was there!!! No screenies cos it was on PS2.

Don't worry, I tried the same thing, though the helis seems to just hang about the edges of whatever forest I was in at the time - guess they're smart enough not to fly into trees. Only rockets or a lot of gunfire seems to get rid of them (but the cops seem to have an endless supply of 'em)

Hey, Nitpicking's not dead. I was just about to receive its life insurance payout

I was doing the burglar missions while checking something out for pdescobar last night, and I like how you can shoot someone sitting down in the head, have it stay intact only to blow off once the ped stands up. It's like a one-second delay death.

Also, yes, NPC aircraft seem to not be affected by trees. I've seen planes go through trees in the wilderness several times.

I find big airplane in warehouse but i notice something strange, the plane is out of order the wheels are very small but on real planes a wheel would be the size of a car

i realize its not realistic but this makes me question the integrity or rockstars

I noticed that the Tyres of the Monster on one side are mounted backwards. The 'V' of the tread on drive wheels should always point forward.
Also the Boxville Van has doors that swing out, all the vans I've driven had sliding doors.
And the Coachs/Buses have door on the left side. Here in the U.S. (except emergency doors) they are on the curb side (right) of the vehicle.

There are so many small things which are wrong in SA. The one I remember clearly is Big Smoke having a SPAS 12 shotgun in the ending mission cutscene and then having an AK47 in the gameplay
But STILL that game is amazing because its just bucketloads of fun with a ton of mission variety.

Nothing wrong there. BS had the AK47 early in the game, as did many NPCs. In the End he upgraded just as CJ had.
