Lose the jetpack at the restricted area without cheats. I hope it helps. Thanks to Digimetal. | Thanks for the video Myx. I'll have to experiment with Digimetal's tricks next time I get a nice block of free time to play.

try doing the ammu-nation weapons glitch. that should give you unlimited ammo for your shotguns
Btw, I can't access any video with my pc. Can anyone please tell me where's the exit of area 69? | When you come in from the vent area, passed the room with minigun, and down some little steps in the room with the catwalk and big cylinders, it's the ceiling above a grate texture on a wall, between the entrances to the hall with the tunnel under the floor, and the curved hall with red lighting. Face the grate texture on the wall and jetpack up through the roof, fly away from area 69 while in blue hell, then drop down and you will respawn on the surface. If that doesn't help, PM and I'll get screenshots in the next few days.

| QUOTE (GTA_Loco @ Apr 5 2006, 03:03) | Excuse me for this super bump. I just want to share a cheatless solution to the problem of CJ riding a vehicle on this mission.
For some reasons, if you remove the jetpack at the Easter Basin dockyard crane, CJ can now surprisingly ride any vehicle. Removing it in the Quarry and Las Venturas cranes would produce the same riding problem for CJ, but doing it in San Fierro solves the issue. This is PS2 version. |
Good tip. Since this was last updated, I got a chance to test digimetal's solution to that as well. If you use a slot machine in one of the casinos, it will also restore the ability to use cars so the quickest method now appears to be to jetpack over to LV, use the crane behind the Clown's Pocket to get rid of the jetpack, then run over to Caligula's and use a slot machine. Then you can grab a car off the strip and head back to the meeting place, grabbing a more suitable vehicle on the way like the Rhino (see below). | QUOTE (continued...) | Now it would be convenient to push the Mothership using a Rhino assuming you stored one before you started this mission. From San Fierro you can just fly back to you VM garage and take your Rhino all the way up to where Truth is then push the Mothership to your VM garage or hangar.
Have fun. |
Keep in mind, this is a "No Wanted Level" mission, so you can get a Rhino out of Area 69 without any problems. Pushing the Mothership back to the VM Garage with the Rhino seems to be both faster and less tedious than the shotgun method. You probably don't even have to worry about getting hungry that way.

I couldn't get either the tow truck or tractor to hook it, so pushing with the Rhino or another really heavy vehicle seems to be the way to go.

Whew! finally got this mother of a mothership after about 20 failed attempts. Now I am the proud owner of an everything proof uniquely coloured vehicle in the entire game. I did not know what mistake i was doing because, i was able to push the Camper inside the Verdant meadows garage, but when i killed CJ the vehicle kept on disappearing. That is when i chanced to see this topic and found out the flaw in my method. I used to push the Camper inside the garage and waste CJ outside and that was the blunder. The key is getting wasted inside the garage along with the mothership. Here are some tips & preparations prior to starting the mission from my side which might make obtaining the Camper, somewhat less pain in the ass. * Having Katie as girlfriend since this involves getting wasted to fail the mission so that you don't lose any weapons acquired. * Storing a Dozer preferably at Verdant meadows or Doherty(driving a dozer from Doherty is very time consuming). *Having a good amount of sawn-off shotgun ammo. When you acquire the jetpack the best place to lose it would the the I/E crane at Easter basin, San Fierro since it immediately restore your ability to use vehicles and there is a NRG500 nearby to get back to Verdant meadows very fast. ( I used the Hunter parked in the Naval base to get back). So now that you can use any vehicle get back to Verdant meadows and take the Dozer previously stored in the garage to the top of the hill where Truth is waiting but don't enter into the red marker. Pushing the Camper using the dozer all the way to your Verdant meadows garage would be lot more easier then shooting with a shot gun. If you happen to push the Mothership from the cliff to the road at the bottom, it might get destroyed if landed upside down which would acutally makes things easier. Then quickly drive the dozer to the damaged vehicle before it disappears, and guide it to the garage. Be careful not to allow your garage door close while you push the damaged Camper, since it tends to disappear if it is halfway inside and the garage door closes.(park another vehicle near the garage such that half of it is inside and the other half outside which keeps the door open). When you are sure that the mothership is well & truly inside the garage waste CJ INSIDE THE GARAGE by any method to fail the mission. The prize would be a unique paint job everything proof Camper or The Mothership.

It has been awhile and I don't recall seeing the mention so, I will add something here.
The Mothership BP/EP/FP/DP has two varieties, one with the top up and one with the top down.
Which you get seems to be completely dependent on approach toward the Mothership before you ditch the backpack then once you see it then go dump your pack by the various methods.
Top down= Southern or Eastern approach.
Top Up=North to North-Eastern approach.
I do take a particular route though and after doing this on so many occasions when first attempting it and noticing the one time the Top Up variety, which looks like the skin for the Mothership in the Are You Going To San Fierro yet this time it has the BP/EP/FP/DP benefits.
I have four BP/EP/FP/DP Motherships from doing this mission several times after I figured the specifics out, two of each variety. I keep them all together in one place because if you divide them up then the game has a more difficult time remembering the paint scheme yet if kept together this fade glitch seems to go away completely.
Like I told everyone in GTA SA The Minimal Kill Challenge, the discovery of the no kill method of the Black Project was discovered by me accidentally when attempting to perfect this find.
