To stop the many topics containing Top Gear videos, i've decided to make one.

Last night, I watched the video with the 300C vs Jaguar S typeR vs Vuxhall Monaro VXR. It was pretty good, and these guys love the Monaro. They keep on going about how well it can drift and how simple it is.

9-9:30? Isn't Top Gear an hour long?

BTW, Those with Sky, its on chanell 566 and 591 during weekdays. 591 being the reply, so on 566 (UKTV People) its on at 1pm, 3pm and then at various other times during the day, but its all the same episode.

Also for Australians SBS will be showing an hour's worth of Top Gear in Mythbuster's slot as of the 12th of December. That's 7:30 Mondays.

To get an idea about how the show goes I've obtained or rather viewed an episode of Top Gear and I am pumped for when it starts to air here. It was the one where they took three supercars being the Ferrari F430, Ford GT and Pangoni Zonda acrross france and amongst other things almost got stuck in a French underground carpark.

@BBP - Yeah I am pretty sure that on Foxtel and Cable TV here we get a edited version of the show much like I think Canada does.

There is two eps on Google video. It's the one with the Baby Austin, M6 and the new 997 comparsion, and the second is the one that has the D1 races (Or whatever they are called) drifting the Monaro VXR (New 6.0L LS2)

called it a "fat aussie slacker" because it was doing 100kph at 1500rpm. it was "idling" at 100kph, and that is somehow a bad thing.

that right there shows the horrible ammount of bias in the show. the jaguar engine is a 4.2L which isn't Tiny when compared to the 5.7L engines of the other two. a 25% difference defininately isn't the difference between "tiny" and "huge". besides the fact that the jaguar is supercharged and 20,000 pounds more(holy sh*t, 34 thousand US ). Kinda makes me wonder why they used the type R.

i think the constant bashing of everyone and everything is one of the best parts of the show. especially when they parody the germans.

Jeremey Clarkson is one of the most opinionated people in the public eye. It's that coupled with his love for cars that makes him so famous.

The three of them put together are just magic. all good friends and all differ in opinion. Its this what makes the show fun and you get 3 different perspectives on the topic at hand.

Any show can review a car, they can drive it round a track, do a few donuts and obcess over it or hate it. Top Gear, they go that extra mile, their features are awesome, they use challenges to get the point across and they put a whole new light and meaning to many cars and types of cars that you'd never thought about.

Not only that, but the filming outside the studio is a masterpiece. In fact, its incredible. They put to gether some stunning visuals coupled with some emotive music which suits the situation and relates to the feeling of the review.

It's the only show on TV I watch to be honest. Unless its a film or the F1. Even my girlfriend watches it, and not only that she enjoys it. That has to count for something when she has little interest in cars.

Obtain episodes however you can, it's worth it if you have a passion for cars and a sense of humour.

Oh believe me I have been "obtaining" episodes anyway I can and its bloody brilliant.

Its funny because a new show here in Australia has jut started called Drive and my gosh its such a rip-off of Top Gear that its pathetic especially because they fit it into only half an hour. The way the show has the audience gathered around the cars at the start, they even have a mystery driver called "Chip" exactly like "Stig" who does a lap of a specific track and its recorded time.
