Dive underwater and swim around until out of air and resurface, go back under when your meter is replenished... Also, oysters increase lung capacity but I think diving is a faster method.

EDIT: watch out for condoms.

Nope, all you need is 50 (out of a possible 1000) lung capacity points to start the mission. The first time you see this message

Finding the oysters is a much faster way of increasing your lung capacity, because not only do they award you for finding them but you're lung capacity increases as you search.

This is one of the first things I did when I fired up the game (that and I drove the bike into the water).

Problem I have now is I did a minor key remap and now I can't dive, nor figure out which "binding" it
was. Some times it seems like the control scheme is completely fscking random or created by a
retarded monkey that was jabbed with a cattle prod as it reached for a random key.

Seriously, if "c" is crouch, why can't it be dive as well? EH?

This is one area Bf1942 kicks arse at by having a air/sea/land/common. PITA if there is a conflict, but
does not take long.
