Touched up the Escalade seats with some SEM. Other than wiring up the heat for them, they should be done for now.

I love your interior! I know it's trivial, but the only thing that would bug me is the Cadillac emblem on the headrests, but again that's just something that would bug me. Did the seats just drop right in or did you have to fab up some mounting brackets?

And as for mine, I washed mine, put NuFinish car polish on it, cleaned the wheels and the white letters on the tires. I didn't feel like cleaning the interior, it's pretty clean right now anyway.

It's the details that make all the difference. I originally wanted NBS headrests with the GMC logo on them, but having these I learned to love seeing the Cadillac emblem in the corners of the rear view mirror.

Front seats were bolt it, rear seats I had to pull the cushion and leather off of the Escalade back seat frames and swap it onto the the Suburban back seat frames, the lower seat frames bolted right up to the existing Suburban mount frames, though I'll later need to relocate one of the latches to keep the seat down.

Pinstriped it. Only cost £3 for 10m so if I go off them I can just rip them off.

Don't mind the pool of fluid. My Mum's Hyundai emptied it's power steering fluid all over the drive so it's off to be fixed.

89 Ferd Danger Ranger. 2.3 dual spark and a 5 speed. Got dem 14's on it. And a side exit exhaust. Git sum son.

Technically this one will be registered and insured by my mom. We each have our own personal cars but don't really like the others driving them. So this will more or less be a spare vehicle for the whole family and something to haul sh*t around in and drive into things drunk with and not really give much of a sh*t about. Beat to absolute sh*t but it runs great. 500 bucks.

It's gotta be cheaper to drive than the bimmer. Thirsty M30 with its horrible gas mileage and premium fuel is starting to bleed me dry.

Laid off and still trying to save money for gtaf meetup in a month though. $20 bucks just doesn't get me far with the BMW.

It sure does get you further than €15 with the diesel Volvo! (I get about 150 miles off that)

I doubt I get that much out of it. You're probably getting twice or more the mpg I get. I get 12-14 mpg some days.

Wow, that's very low.

Keep your foot out of it. I can squeeze that kind of mileage out of a 4x4 Suburban. notify.gif

You keep buying tiny vehicles, what do you expect? lol

Looks decent though. You got a good deal. Is there any way you could recess those lights into the grill or bumper?

Not my exact car, but basically this, same color at least. Only difference is my grill is all black, and I have black window tints (Even though they are illegal here)

The E28 is one of the roomiest vehicles I've been in. I'm 6'5" and 280ish. It's a great car for someone my size to stretch out in. I can even sleep in it and have several times.

The ranger is opposite. It's like cramming yourself into a box. I can't use turn signals.

On the bimmer gas mileage, M30's are thirsty pigs. As you can see from the ratings here, even the more efficient motronic'd B35 is pretty thirsty. I think a B34 E28 was officially rated a 13 mpg city. Pretty bad. Keeping my foot out of it, I do manage 16-18.5 mpg. I've gotten down to 9 really getting on it before.

Took it on its first drive. It's not BMW fast by any means but it's not too bad. I suspect the 5 speed keeps it from totally sucking. No way I would ever drive something like this with an automatic.

the high profile 14" tires sure do feel rolly polly. I'm used to the stability of a sidewall that's somewhat low pro and a tire with a wider contact patch (ie the 225/50ZR16's on the E28 or the 205/50ZR17's on mom's 3).
