I have 3 releases for my mods of san andreas. Firstly my pride, the chaos mod, made using SAMT. Though these are just data edits

The Chaos Mod

Big war between every ped cop and gang.

The water has frozen, you can walk and drive on it

This changes every ped animation to that of an old woman

That Ice mod has its Downfalls:
You cant drive boats or swim
cant get oysters
and you cant do that swimming mission for woozie

Since when has a mod got to be something that permanaently enhances the game play of the story. Most aren't they're just a bit of fun, and randoman actually wanted this mod yeti for his DAT project, (not as in data files)

yeah i tried the ice mod and it also doenst work for me. i tried to look in the game files and from the coding it looks like it should work fine. anyone esle tried this mod yet?

I believe the point is your mods are things modders do when playing around with various parameters. That would all be well and good except for the fact that you bumped it after a mere four hours shows a need for attention.

Yes, you are one of the first things out the door. It didn't take any particular work of staggering genius to accomplish but there is no problem with you releasing them.

You should, however, expect people to point out the problems and shortcomings. It's honest criticism of your work and not you as a person; there's a distinction to be made there.

Hope you get them working.

Come on guys, bumping after four hours is not a crime. I've seen topics bumped after 20 minutes before.

there is no noticeable change whatsoever. the water is exactly the same as before i replaced the files. i tried starting a new game too and the mod still had no effect.

Vg and yeti still following me around lol, I wasn't actually sure that the ice mod would do that much as it says in the readme, all it must do in that case is simply slow down entry marginally. And two topics had just overtaken mine within 30 minutes so I'm sorry but they had recieved replies and I hadn't.

No, not until there is some sort of moddeling system and we can make the collision files changed for water, though i will be experimenting with some other 'techniques'
