i aint lying when i says, "IT TOOK ME 2 MONTHS TO BEAT CITY SLICKING" but wut i did was jus drive alot to get my griving skill all the way up, then jus stayed in the middle of the road, following the tracks for the most part, then i beat it

well, here's something I did: If your a cheater type in the reduced traffic then go to the mission and make sure you have NO damage and get a score under 40 seconds I think and you should get 100%. P.S. the car is trippy, it spins out to much.

If you have damaged the car and you are a cheater, input the health/money/armor cheat and it will fix your car But It is pretty easy once you understand the route and such.

I got this off the Bike, Car, Boat, Air schools Topic:

When you begin the race, before the timer starts, press start. Once you get to the Start menu, press Triangle to exit then immediately hold X to start the race. The timer should start 1-2 seconds after you have already started.

Turn right when you get off the parking lot

Drive over the grass and jump on the tracks (be careful not to flip the car!) ("alternative route")

Then to the point where you can find the body armor and squeeze through the opening between the building and the hillside (be careful again not to flip the car!)

Over the parking lot and then on the road, and then: go go go!

Hit the gas, and try to drive as much as you can in a straight line (over the sidewalks, cutting corners etc but beware of the street lights (damn street lights!)

At the marker go left, up the steep roads and drive home using the tram tracks ("normal route")

I finished in 100 secs sharp -> gold!

Imo, the route I described is best of both routes. Using the "alternative route" to return, I had some difficulties driving up the hillside to the tracks again without flipping or spinning the car. And using the "normal route" towards the checkpoint, I found it difficult going down the steep roads towards the checkpoint without spinning or hitting a car and then perform a perfect 180 to return.

FFS, would people please STOP recommending cheats for everything .

There are Lots of us true gamers who NEVER EVEN CONSIDER using cheats, and why would anyone bother asking for help in "Gameplay Chat" if they were cheaters?

There's a specific forum for Cheats and Tricks, so please confine your loser cheat reccommendations to that forum.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I truly detest cheating.
To see guys casually recommending cheats, in order to avoid mastering a certain skill, really makes my blood boil!!

I totally blame the "console generation" for this glib attitude to cheating we have nowadays.
Do young people have no pride anymore? Cheats should be viewed as the last resort, something to use when you finally admit to yourself that you will never be a racing driver or fighter pilot, or hold any job that requires the mastering of difficult skills.

no cheat fun routes...alot easier than old route trust me....

Yeah.... Cutting across the tracks and down the hill is the best route. Just stay on the sidewalk the whole way there and back. I just got gold doing that route.
