Well im using Windows xp on all my computers. 2 have network cards wired which work and can share the printer and files together.

I have one pc on a wireless connection. Im having serous trouble setting it up. I can browse the internet on it ect, except i cant share files or use the shared printer.

I heard that i might have to buy an access point.... im preety clueless on wireless networking.

Help!

Wireless routers typically have a WAP built in. What brand and model is it?

Edit: And I'm not sure that it matters, but check and make sure it's in the same workgroup as the other computers.

IF you're getting an internet connection then the problem with share files is not the hardware. It's the way you have you set work configured.
I wish I could explain network configuration to you but I have no damn clue how to set it up properly.
