| QUOTE (Hexhamlad @ Apr 18 2005, 00:15) | | QUOTE | | sure, but they didnt get a lot of respect b/c they stole lyrics...or so says VH1's "And You Don't Stop" |
i didnt know that but anyhow that wasnt my point all i was saying is you couldnt have a list without them on it and now there on the list so im happy. Do you know where this infomation was from or has anyone else heard this? because its new to me, not that im doubting you just seems strange that all
Hex | Big Bad Hank borrowed some lyrics from Grandmaster Caz and the Cold Crush Brothers and I think it was Wonder Mike who stole the famous "Hip, hop, a hibby to the hip hip hop and you don't stop the rock" from Lovebug Starski. Favorite Old School Crews: Public Enemy Gang Starr EPMD Eric B & Rakim N.W.A Run-D.M.C Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five Wu-Tang Clan (I don't know if you can consider them old school but whatever) Brand Nubian Cypress Hill Beastie Boys Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Ultramagnetic MCs (After I heard them GTA: SA, I was blown away)

| QUOTE (Harlem @ Apr 18 2005, 00:22) | De La Soul Run DMC Cool and The Gang Public Enemy Gang Starr (semi-old skool right?) | I hated it that they turned away from funk an too pop, I mean "whos gonna take the wieght", "jungle boogie" and "hollywood swingin'" pure genius, they turned in to the thing that stevie nicks turned fleetwood mac in to.
