Go with the Hotring Racer...as it has a simliar speed to PCG, but sharp turning on a bike is a b!tch. A car is more simly by using both Handbreak to stop and Reverse to stop spinning out of control.....It works.

Well for handling, there are other numbers related to brakes and suspension and well as a few other things that most likely affect it. The numbers I posted were just for speed reasons. As for the "super" angel, it's modified through the game's mission coding. This is from the decompiles main.scm: | CODE | 00A5: $1418 = create_car #ANGEL at $1412 $1413 $1414 0423: car $1418 improve_handling 2.0 0175: set_car $1418 z_angle_to $1438 00AE: unknown_set_car $1418 to_ignore_traffic_lights 2 00AD: set_car $1418 max_speed_to 63.0 02AA: set_car $1418 immune_to_nonplayer 1 0129: $140F = create_actor 4 #BKA in_car $1418 driverseat |
Opcodes 0423 and 00AD, but I don't know what the game does with those numbers. Obviously, 63 kmph can't be the actual speed because the regular angel in the handling.cfg has a max velocity of 190 kmph. I took a look at Hilary's Sabre Turbo from The Driver: | CODE | | 0423: car $F9C improve_handling 1.5 |
| CODE | | 00AD: set_car $F9C max_speed_to 45.0 |
Regular Sabre Turbo: 180.0 kmph, 32.0 ms-2 My best guess is that the improve_handling number is a multiplier, but I don't know which numbers exactly it multiplies. And the max_speed_to number is either a change in the acceleration (45 ms-2) or added on the max speed (180+45=225). You'd probably have to run tests comparing the original and the modified to find out. Edit: Added regular Sabre Turbo and Angel to other post. I'd add all the cars if there weren't over 70 of them. Just to clarify, there are now missions for SSA per se... after you buy it, you need to go behind the showroom and look next to the garage door that doesn't open-- there is a list of cars that are to be delivered-- finish the first list and there will be another, and another, and another (4 total)-- the 4th (last) list will earn you the hotring racer.
Also--for gta3pcguy, if you look at the stats posted by Samutz-- the fastest car is the infernus, followed by the cheetah, and then the hotring racer. The hotring racer just has a higher acceleration-- so depending on how you are driving will determine which vehicle can get you from point A to point B the fastest.
