Change that to 1 and recompile the code. Then the debug mode is on.
And the shotgun change is incomplete. We needed to use the stubby because it was the only shotgun that shot 5 bullets. The model and icon will be changed eventually. |
That line of code isn't in there. I've searched again and agian. O_o BTW sorry to keep bringing it up, but any ideas what's causing the Portland wanted-level problem? It's just that I miss lobbing grenades off the police station balcony  Also I noticed that in the last release the loading screens were removed  This probably isn't the place for such a question, but is this possible in regular VC? That depends on which side of the car she gets out of. If you're facing the other way, she walks normally. The reason she turns is when the car is in the way of where she's walking, she turns. That turn is reflected in the following scene. That's because part of that was controlled by the exe. This is another thing that's in the exe. We can modify it, but we can only do it to 3 digits. So the closest we could get would be $999. We're looking at the wanted level issues. It appears there is a difference between the way VC and GTA3 handle wanted levels. Bikes will spawn (in traffic) in areas where you'd expect them. They show up in similar areas to sports cars. In other words, you see them in Staunton and Shoreside Vale. There are a couple of PCJs parked in Portland though.

Yeah i noticed those few bugs too. In "the getaway", and salvatore's missions ("chaperone", etc.), whilst the marker doesn't appear on screen, it's on the radar, so i guess this is just an incomplete part of the missions.
Also, just a quick question - i noticed some of the stats that only apply to vice city are still present (eg - property budget, etc.) - are these going to be removed?
Just one other question, how can you get past "cutting the grass" - i've tried heaps of different ways, but it crashes everytime. Are there any other missions with significant bugs that i can expect?

A friend of mine and I found a way to do the mission and it may take some tries to do it but it works! First, when you arrive to Luigi's where Curly Bob takes the Taxi, get in the taxi, sometimes the driver wont go out of the taxi so go you'll have get inside the other side of the taxi. When you're in, you must be at the same place as the exit of Luigi's, so when Bob arrive he doesnt have to walk much more but just get inside. When you arrive in Portland Harbor, as soon as you go in the blue marker , when Bob get out of the taxi, get out of it you too or else after the dialogue, you'll have a white screen and then, you'll be at the hospital like you would have be killed. The reason why it does that is because the taxi dispear. Also the bug only happens when you do the missions in order and not when you can do any missions like you want to do them. I'm not really good with explanations so I hope you understood!

Get a Taxi (Taxi, Cabbie, Borgnine whatever. Works the kaufman cab?  ) Stand behind the normal taxi and Curly gets in your taxi. Bugs: 'The Getaway' (Joey): When you got 3 police starts you must normally to Pay 'n Spray but now you can back to the hideout immediately.'The Thieves' (Marty Chonks): When you go to Pay 'n Spray you see a 'spray can' but when you get out of the car and then get back in you see not a 'spray can' but an 'R' (from Ray).
