Season nine of southpark is finally going to start very soon, so heres a topic to discuss the new episodes, and post pictures of sexy shellfish things if you wish. Season 8 was allright I guess, but not a patch on seasons 4-6, that was the peak. Lets hope season nine tickles our funnybones eh.

i havent watched it fir a couple of years now, damn their on season 9 already. last episode i remember was the one kenny was killed... you know what i mean, when he actually died for good. What season was that in?

Call me old-school, but seasons 2-3 were the peak. Not that they were much more than an extra glinto n a bright light, every season is tiptop (save perhaps the first few episodes, before the humor got a little more subtle.).

I really hope this isn't the last season like some have claimed.

Matt and Trey are already signed on for a 10th season and they've stated that they might even do more than that.

@pcj1200: Kenny was killed off "for good" at the end of season 5 (episode 513 - "Kenny Dies" originally aired Dec 5, 2001). He returned at the very end of the next season's Christmas episode (617 - "Red Sleigh Down")

Ive always been waiting for that return. That episode absolutaly cracked me up. In fact ive enjoyed most all of seasons 4-8 so far.

Going back and watching season 1 now is REALLY wierd.

One of my favorites is the "Woodland Critter Christmas." The one where Stan goes to the forest and meets a bunch of cute animals.......that worship satan. Then they end up giving birth to the antichrist and Stan has to teach the mountain lions how to give an abortion.

Another favorite of mine is the one where they're all stranded on a bus that's about to fall off the cliff. They all remember past events, just ending them differently.

I thought tonight's episode sucked. Mr(s). Garrison was more obnoxious than funny and most of the humor came from shock value. The negroplasty and dolphinoplasty surgeries were classic though.
