It's not Canada that I'm worried about. They will be mad, but eventually forgive the NHL. Down here in the US, we have the largest portion of teams, and since the US dollar is worth more, the league stands to lose a lot more from American teams. I seriously doubt the NHL will ever go away, but there is a very real chance that some teams will fold, or at least move.

i liked hockey alot a few yrs back, but now theres just way too many teams. they should get rid of every team added in the last 10 years. just keep the canadian teams and the teams with tradition/good fan bases and it'l be ok.

Hockey is such a great sport. Unlike the majority of people, i got the honor of raising the stanely cup over my head 2 summers ago (I have some connections). I got chills from holding it because of the tradition and legend that exists within the cup. It was an amazing feeling, and i hope that hockey comes back soon, now that I am in college, i have no time to play anymore and my nights are empty because of the lack of hockey.

yeah last year when tampa won the cup richards brought it back here and it was f*cking awesome. even though i am a big flames fan it was still a decent experience

Without NHL, my first year in University was like piece of sh*t.
I'm f*cking sick seeing no more hockey because of some stubborn SOB were playing with things and keep letting our fans disappointed.

Yeah hockey may not be my favorite sport it may not be the most famous sport but its a damn good sport i sure as hell will miss it now everytime i think about hockey i will think the flyers were 1 game away from the cup.....and we cant even redeem ourselves

Im so pissed off that the guys are on strike and I think they should just f*cking give them the money so they can make just as much as they did befor and still pay the playes.
