To use cheats you must change your name to GOURANGA, press enter to set changes, then change your name to the cheat you want to use. After changing your name to GOURANGA you can use as many cheats as you want to, but some cheats only work in the european version of GTA2, while others only work on the american version.

Hey, I've heard that free GTA 2 on R* website has some changes. Like an enhanced police crime reporting system, 1 hour brand new audio, full 3D support with civilians saying normal phrases. Is it true? Please don't take these words as some lie, just heard of it, wondering whether it's true or not. Cuz I don't wanna another copy of GTA 2

It does have full 3D support, just with no view changes and the cars were 2D sprites instead of 3D models (which they were in development IIRC). Mario Kart on both the SNES and Nintendo 64 did the same thing, the maps were 3D but the karts were 2D sprites, taken from multiple angles of a 3D model of each character.

I went to the rockstar site to download it, but when i go to my email to click and download, the page just comes up with nothing, guess they discontinued it, and it was for a limited time only.

It has been working for years. If it isn't working at the moment then it's probably just a glitch. Try again later or contact them.

If it is not working for you, then it is either your Internet connection is too slow OR it is not available in your country. What country are you in? OR what is your internet connection? Are you 18 or older? Remember the game is M rated, so you have to be at least 17 to download it..

I am in the USA, and everything seems fine here-GTA II at Rockstar Games website.

I just did this, filled out the form on the Rockstar Classics website and it works fine for me when using Firefox. See if it is something with your browsers settings that is preventing you from being able to download the game, the pop-up settings, or firewall settings, of your browser may be the reasons as to why you are getting a blank page when you click the download link.

Are you over the age of 17? Remember, that GTA games are rated M(which means you MUST be at least 17 to Purchase(or in this case Download for Free) the game(s). Also, is your AV/Firewall program blocking it-try disabling them(ie. turn them OFF) and try again...

yes but when i click the link it does nothing, i don't know what to do its very confusing, and also my computer goes crazy and messes up whenever i click on the link, I hope its not a virus.

Rockstar wouldn't send you a link to a virus but it is a really large file and if your web browser tried to display it instead of download it then it could slow your computer.

What happens if you run gta2.exe before gta2 manager.exe?

Did you try updating your video drivers?

Is hardware acceleration enabled in dxdiag?

Nvidia Geforce 6150se, and yes it is enabled, and when i run gta2.exe it comes to a black screen and freezes up i don't understand.
