Gang wars are hard, wave 1 and I got Ballsacs with freaking MP5 (SMG)!

So... You have, a fireproof, CJ with the M4 Assault Rifle and Molotov Cocktails, and maybe the Desert Eagle.
The M4 out ranges the other weapons,
the Desert Eagle kills with one shot.
Molotov Cocktails wipes out groups.
And in the Second Go-round you can equip the Missile Launcher to get them around corners (almost) and when hidden behind walls/hedges/fences with the HE Blast.
The other gangs have nothing to compare with the firepower CJ has. No excuse in losing unless CJ is poorly postioned on the battlefield. If done right CJ doesn't need body armour, either.

I don't know if this is the place to ask but I'm new here so sorry for that. My question is, I took over the whole Ballas territory but there are 2 small areas remaining - 1 at Jefferson Hotel, other at SE Willowfield. My problem is that these areas are very small and I don't have enough Ballas to start the war - 1 or 2 at most. Is there any idea how to take them over?

Go on the top of Jefferson Hotel and bring sniper rifle and snipe Ballas from distance.

Go on top of Jefferson Motel there is a staircase at the rear of the building. Go up and look down to the south. You should see a group of three Ballas standing on the sidewalk quickly run down there and kill them while standing near the motel. You have to be standing in the zone to start the territory war. Stand facing away from where you want them to be.
Wait a minute or two and then turn around.
Another way is to climb up to a roof. Use the sniperrifle to scan other areas and if you spot 3 foes shot them.
Another way is to have submission vehicle. Wait for a counter-attack. Usually during an attack period foes show up in zones. When they do activate the submission and cancel it. Then you have your targets.
Another, If a drug dealer is next to CJ turn away for a minute then turn back and shoot him, this sometimes spawns foes.

ok, solved - it took a while, but gang cars spawned and I was able to provoke a gang war.

Great tips by the way once achived 100% do rival gangs totally disapeer cos in ps2 when I completed it I never saw another gangster again

It is the same, yes. Take all 100% of the gang zones and no more conflict.

how do you take over VERY SMALL pockets of gang territory - the space is so small and I can't trigger gang war

Climb up on a roof, if you can (if CJ is too fat he can't climb).
Use the sniper-rifle to pot-shot the three ballas that will appear.
Or turn CJ away from where you want the enemy to appear. Turn around after two or so minutes.
Or create a roadblock and wait for enemy cars to be stopped. Pull the driver out, BUT DON'T allow CJ to get in the car, shoot the driver and the others will dismount to attack CJ.
Or use a rocket launcher to blast distant or vehicle mounted enemys.

This is a weird one. I have all the gang territory yet I still have Vagos stirring up, near the railway crossing in Idlewood. I think I have cross pollination going on here. How do I get rid of these pests?

Yes it is 100% I have all the territories yet this one in Idlewood is a mix of Vagos and my OGs. Everytime I try to start a gang war, my homies kill them before I get the chance to shoot the group of three. I will try climbing up on a roof and see if I can snipe them.

Try using a Molotov or Missile Launcher to kill them at one blast.

Back to the first post, you forgot to mention that there is turf above SF and north of SF water that rich little town furthest town west of Las venturas Island
