Can someone post a screen of the map showing a piece of turf under shared control?

If somebody does get a map or a screenshot of it I would put edit my original post and put it in there. And to the person who is only having 98% or so, firstly, check over in SF for two territories, thats where two of them were in my game. Also I have heard of others that have had vagos territory up by the boat school, so you might want to check those two locations if youre having trouble.

Oh, and make sure there are no "half" territories, I failed in a couple coups to take territory, I came back and they were half my color and half their color, so make sure that you dont have any of those around.

Oh and to answer the question, I have 100% of territories and it says that I control 57 territories, so hopefully that helps anybody.

Whats up, i'm new to posting here, but i've read the forums for quite awhile for hints and tips.

Firstly, I thought I would contribute by showing a screenshot of the territory I took over about 5 minutes ago in San Fierro. This is to prove there is territory there, at least for some people.
user posted image

Taking that over consisted of finding and killing 4 Ballas to start a war, and then killing 4 more in one wave, and the territory was mine. lol.gif

For anyone who is wondering where the "final" Vagos territory is, here is another screenshot:

The problem I am having is that I can't find any Vagos to start a war. Strangely, I have found many groups of my own guys over there.
user posted image

Here is a screenshot showing a very small sliver of Ballas territory that you might have overlooked (I have already taken it over.)
user posted image

Sorry, but I can't contribute any screenshots to "partly taken" territory as I have never experienced any. Hope this post helps some of you.

Sorry for the double post but...

Since I am partially colorblind, I came to find out that the Bayside territory is mine, even though I never took it. Actually, i'd never even been to Bayside.

So, I took a screenshot of all the gang areas and asked a friend to pick out the yellow spot I was missing, since I have a hard time telling the difference between the Grove Street green and the Vagos yellow. He picked out the territory I have highlighted with a red box. Sure enough I went over there and found some Vagos and started a war.
user posted image

Now I have 100% of the territories. Hope this helps.

Edit: I have all 55 territories in my game, as opposed to 57 as somebody else posted.

My attention was JUST brought to this topic and I wanted to share my own experiences.

When I FIRST got into gang wars, I thought having more would have an advantage other than more cash at mom's house. Not true at all, though it is a GREAT way to attain Hitman with any and all weapons available to you. You should be using MP5s and AK47s first since the wars themselves will make your ammo virtually unlimited. Even the first time around, the only time I really died was when I CHOSE to meet them head on or otherwise made a poor choice of positioning and chose to fight instead of running and regrouping.

Also, you should always fight solo. There is almost NO advantage to bringing friends.

The second time through, I was virtually unstoppable. Not because of weapon skills because that was all done in gang wars anyways. But because of my own experience. Gang wars taught me a lot about gun fighting on the PS2. Now, even fighting them head on with zero cover is almost always a complete and total win. Just make sure you make attempts to spot the health and armor pickups that get spawned. If you haven't found one, then kill all but one gang member on the last wave and run around looking for them. They don't last forever, but just about.

Only other thing I have to add is to be careful during "our hood is under attack" because they can also be carrying shotguns. Do NOT get hit by these as the knockdown side effect could spell the end for you.

Pinned.

Yeah,

Like I said before in my post. Go alone, its easier. Youre gang members are pretty much just in youre way and regrouping, reall bad. Forget about that. Just go alone, get distance and shoot em. Then get their guns and have some guns for the next war.......

and plz read the other posts before you post something, its annoying hearing things ten times in a row. you can concur with others but dont reply without reading anything.......

im not the boss but, its annoying^^

and yeah, some areas to take over are very small so keep youre eyes open.

Thanks for the pin Demarest. Like Ive said before if your hood is under attack, its cool if you want to keep with the realism and defend your territory, cool for you, I did it for a while, but sometimes Id be in the middle of something, or Id not have enough amo (mostly on the first time around) so if you dont think you have enough amo, life, armor, or are just plain in the middle of trying to find something else, just find a place to save, the territory will be yours still and there will be no war going on anymore. Just a lil tip for easy defending.

I own 100% territory, but only have 54 territories, i also had to take the vagos territory near the boat training school.

I've not seen the two in SF near paradiso!!!!

Maybe they have a randomiser?? I've noticed other discrepencies in the game too. Such as dating millie, i've been told about 3 different time slots, and the time slot i found was different again.

But cheers for the info and maps anyway.

Ok, now I really think something is screwed up with my territories - maybe someone can help, because I have been trying to do this for days now and no one else seems to have the same territories I do. If needed I can try to take pics with my digi cam so people can see what I am talking about.

First in my stats I have 57 territories taken over, but it is saying only 81.93 under my control, total held is 68. Ballas have 4 left and Vagos 11.

Now this is where it gets tricky, I have tons of territory in San Fierro listed as mine and Vagos, and had some Ballas, which I have managed to take over, except for a square of Ballas territory which is right between the runway and easter basin naval station. The entire town of Fort Carson is Ballas, as well as Tierra Robada, and the Quarry.

The problem is I have never not even once seen a ped in some of these places let alone a gang member. I have tried sitting for 24 hours game time to see if anyone shows up, Ive taken my gang members with me and all they shoot at is cops. Anyway if anyone has any ideas or just wants to see pics of my map cause maybe I am being retarded and missing something obvious let me know

Ok im going to clear up the mixed colour problem.

This happens when the enemy is busy running away to find another way to kill you they leave their territory usually if you die they will own it still. But because they are not in the territory if you die or leave the area too long it becomes mixed, undecided.

Also you gotta bring 8 gang members its just realism smile.gif

oh and get a flatbed and load as many gang members as possible on the back, Almost forgot you can load all gangmembers in a bus, unfortunatly you cant do drive bys sad.gif

I had 54 territorys, 1 Vargos, 0 Ballas 80+% not sure exactly for days and couldn't find the last one until i checked this forum and discovered there was one at the marina. So i took it over and i had 55 territorys, 1 Vargos, 0 Ballas and still the same percent. As the rage got he better of me i quit for the night to try today. So i checked this forum again and read about the SF territorys so put on the game, looked for the past 10 mins or so looking with no result only to check my stats and it now reads 54 territory, 0 Ballas, 0 Vargos and 100.00%. Not sure why, but aint bothered. maybe someone else has had the same.

I must be a bit colorblind myself, I missed that same little square of Vagos territory too... So hard to see, they should have made the colors stronger and not so similar. With ballas its not bad but trying to see a little bit of light yellow in all that green is a bit much.

Also, I have the boat school territory and the 2 ballas ones in SF. They do exist for sure.

I do have one question though, the Vagos gang car (Tornada). Is it true that once you've eliminated all the Vagos that that car won't ever spawn again? Their turf is the only place I've ever seen one.

I was wondering where a flatbed was? I wanted to see how many gang members could fit in one. Thanks in advanced.

You need to play past all of SF and LV missions to get back to LS. Then you are able to do gang wars again. I had the same question.

Also, yes, I find using the M4 is a great gun to take out gang members. Also, planting a remote explosive on the drive-by car sometimes can work greatly to your advantage.
