Yes those are the ones necessary. I don't know if there are more...there probably are. I'll go over the strat guide again tomorrow and see if I can find out more info on 100% status.

I didn't just copy it out of the book. The f*cking book has 200 some pages. It took me a good amount of time to type that up. Its not like I could have just scanned it or something. And I didn't do it for karma or a cookie...I just had some free time and I figured it might help out some people who didn't buy the strat guide.

Does this mean you can't get 100% if you save after killing Big Smoke?

It has been proven several times that the BradyGames strat guide has a LOT of wrong/incorrect information.

PS. Looks like I'm on the last mission... Kind of disapointing... Some things didn't wrap up as nicely as I thought they would. But then again, I havent completed it yet, so I guess time will tell....

I also need to do the craploads of other stuff still other then the story line.

Yeah you need the courier missions becasue they are part of the assests.


About the Brady guide, I know that sometimes they make mistakes but usually not on important stuff. I managed to get 100% on both Vice & GTA3 using the guides so they can't be all that horribably inaccurate.

Have you looked at the photo shot locations and then the corresponding map locations? They are all horribly wrong.

I haven't played through it yet, but I've seen the code. Without spoiling too much, it's similar to Vice City. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some cool new things too (because there's a few new opcodes there which I don't understand yet).

Well, he got a pin and a star. Even if he copied it, it was still plenty of work. And now people who dont want to use a guide have a list so they know what they have to do. Thanks again meth.

Just to clarify, killing Smoke would prevent you from doing the courier missions? Wouldn't blowing up the crack factory prevent it? If so, I'm screwed.

hey man, great list, but i think you may be missing some things. im pretty sure, from other places ive read, that you must own all the safehouses throughtout the game (think there is like 35 or something) from looking at the map

1. if im not mistaken, i believe you need $10,000 not $100,000 for the robbery missions

2. the horseshoes are found in LV, while the oysters are found over all 3 cities, but in water
