@TwoZero: I got the same bug as you with the load bug only going a small amount. I fixed it by using an earlier version of the launcher, the newest one seems not to work. The main.scm seemed fine though, but needs the navig.zon file in the download to be used to work.

New Updates
=========

Now reads car list, car values, colour list, colour values and colour RGB values from the "settings.ini file". This means you can edit any of these lists and sort them into alphabetical order.

"Player Mass" added to "Player Stats"

"Car Mass" added to "Car Stats"

You can now view your screenshots within my Trainer, just goto the "Screenshots" tab choose which file to view. Double-click the thumbnail to view fullscreen.

Not many updates, but the biggest change is that there is now 3x less code than there was before. Now I know why Delfi doesn't hardcode stuff into his apps.

Anyway enjoy this new version.

Buy faster RAM then, plus a processor, graphics card... infact, update the whole system.

I have never had performence problems when using/testing my trainer. You are the first person to say such a thing.

My FPS drops very, very low. My game starts having a lag.

I think this might be related to how in the old version, when you started the trainer without having Vice City running about 5 or 6 error messages came. I think that the trainer reads the game to update things like what car you are driving, the position of health bars etc. My trainer reads the game whenever the mouse moves over the application. Mabye to reduce lag like this there would have to be a read game button confused.gif

Reading from the memory will always make things slightly slower if youre doing it on a loop, but with a decent interval you should be able to get away with it. RAM is pretty fast in most cases. smile.gif

Good luck with the trainer MM.

my game does the same lag thing, and i have a pretty new and fast computer. Maybe i should jsut let the game sit for like 5 minutes without touching anything and see if it speeds up. but a read game button is a good idea.

Shouldnt be a problem reading from the memory, RAM is very fast. unless your seriously low on RAM and youre using virtual memory or something.

Hell no, turing it off makes major problems, windows only normally uses virtual memory if its struggling for RAM.

Solution: buy better, faster RAM... and a few other things might affect it.

i have 512mb of ddr ram, shouldn't that be enough? how often does this trainer read the ram?
Oh, i'm also using a -------.exe so that the audio from gta3 will play instead of the audio from my vice city disc.

Yes I am getting serious slowdowns and crashes whenever I use the trainer, I am guessing it depends on what version of the loader you have?.

And don't say its my computer as it plays Doom 3 comfortably wink.gif

Well I have PC2100 256MB DDR with a AMD Athlon XP 2000+ and I have no problems, but recently I did notice that my trainer was using on average 80% of my CPU although it didn't lag my game. This lag you are receiving is probably caused by both Timers, one for the values that my trainer reads, and one for the "Print Screen" detection. I am going to set up a keyboard hook which will remove the "Print Screen" timer, then I will find another way for my trainer to update health, armor, etc.

Every 1ms, but that's soon to change.

Hopefully, in the next release there will be no timer(s).

ok great i can't wait. I tried using Delfi's when yours wouldn't work but i can't get the console or the hotkeys to work, and it has no garage editor, so Hopefully yours will work for me.

Can someone post up a working link? The posted one seems like it's down. And for the people who already use this trainer is there a way to make your car damage proof? That would nice. I really like the Ultimate Trainer that lith joe did for vice city. Well I will be waiting for the link thanks in advance.

The link has always been working, you were forbidden to download the file because DownloadCounter.com was not on my Hotlink list. You'll be able to download the trainer now.
