Myriad Islands...Is it like a fan made GTA game?

As new lots are added initially, they will need to be installed manually, or unless of course a BWInstaller script is written for it. There are 2 options really with updates, either install it manually if you are competent enough to, or just wait for a new installer, which will of course require a fresh install of San Andreas, unless an updater is made, which would more less likely than a full new install.

Isn't it about time for a first-post update around here, taking into consideration recent contributions from aad (GTI kick-starter), AleXXX, Cran and myself, the welcome 'return' of Gforce and there's no mention of how much work is going into the MI train system (hats off to all of you).

Just a thought.

Me and Gforce went over the contributers list not too long ago. I think it was August. As I recall it had quite a few more participants on it...Lemme see if I can dig it up...

and it took us several hour's of trawling "ALL" the older topics right the way through, although i still get the feeling that someone important is missing from the list

my personal intention was to use 1 of the intro video slots as a contributor video (a little like the SA intro contributor/team list intro) given that the list is so long and the previously used endscreen outro is way too fast to use with the SA engine, unfortunately my intro video creation skills are completely pre-n00b standard

AFAIK you're on the list myself and mickarrow made, how could we ever forget the Bunker ?

it was one of the first 5 lots for MI that i ever installed

Well now that the game's moved to San Andreas I can't really do much for modding. I've installed 3DS Max on my computer here, but it's not the best. Plus SA runs sh*t on this mini.

Oh, but I did make a new bunker I just don't remember if I posted it the PP&C thread or not. I might have, but the pictures are probably gone by now.

While you guys are compiling contributers lists, maybe it would be a good idea to think about a proper licensing model for the mod. As of now, everyone still owns the copyright to his/her contribution, and could limit or revoke permission to use it any time. Since this was supposed to be a community project, it would make sense to use an open, less restrictive license such as one of Creative Commons' licenses, like the recently released Berlin Mod did. But for that we'd first need permission from everyone who worked on the mod, of course.

Apparantly you didnt checked myriadislands.com or all the other related topics, and this topic is way out of date so i guess locking it nouw will be the best thing to do,
