You should download and install sound card driver to play it on Windows XP. Just google it and you'll find many download links. Hope this helps

If it runs fine in Win 7 then why use XP?
Are you playing with the DVD in the Drive?
Did you (or someone else) modify the game?

Sooo, there's more than likely the problem....mods are known to cause problems with games at times...do an un-install, delete the remaining files from the Install directory, delete the .set file from the User Files Folder, then Re-install and PLAY without mods and if problems persists, it is your Sound Card....

Also, Is this the Retail(DVD) version OR a Downloaded version?
If Downloaded, from where?
If Retail, Is this the Original DVD being used OR a No DVD Crack OR A Copy of said DVD being used?
Is this V1, V2, OR V3 of the game?

This section is for Un-modded games ONLY...we have a dedicated section for modding...
