Hi,

I saw a lot of videos of crash test in youtube and some of them are so funny...

The aim is that people can make crash test for all vehicules and share it on youtube, i mean no race, or else, only heavy destruction wink.gif

Nevada desert is not so hard to do, i saw on google pictures, only mountains and a looooong road and bushes (no need collision) !!

If you have time you could make it, you got this talent wink.gif it would be cool for guys like insanegaz... he 's for me the official GTA IV stunter and car crasher, i can prepare for you somethin...

except it doesn't have giant bushes XD

What i meant was that the hills and mountains could have some work on it genious smile.gif
Bushes can be scaled down..

Idk Nine, i don't have mutch time yet to build something with Cityscape and i'm bored by it.. I'm spending my free time to port DiRT 2/3 maps to IV tounge.gif

Hi am back for few weeks,

i discover the new version of gims last week, since i tried to export my map but i cannot, can somebody explain how to convert especially the material editor mod, its new for me i do all the things but error, i hate this word.

1 error : i cannot see LC map in map helper
2 when i convert, all my textures disappear
3 odr and coll export failed all time...

Thx for your help !!!

or somebody have all gims version i mean i would like the nov 2011 version if possible !!! Thx

really i need help, i know that gims is not so hard, but how can my map have 10 ID in material editor when i have only one texture

Ye it's gims fault, he changed everything about materials.. Best way is to select faces/elements and apply gims material through older material window by clicking right in tools>material editor>your material.
I came up some funky stuff aswell when i've ported those bugs to game, i saw black.
And in your video you forgot to do ide and wpl section, also delete that SceneRoot child in SchematicView, it blocks stuff if you changing something to it ( or use Hierarchy Manager in tools to replace your models before texturing ) smile.gif
Check my tutorial i've made a time ago, only what changed is that material editor in gims compared to my vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbtU3ZowPC8

i didnt made ide wpl because its works perfectly but as you can see in my video, i have problems with shaders, material editor is so complicated, have you got your old version of gims ? or can you quickly show me how to for the material editor step

you mean my map have to be virgin, grey color then i put all my textures on it ?

how can i select faces ? my map is already textured, all is done, i just need to put collision options, really guys, anybody can help me ?

this material editor is not my friend, it doesnt want to be mine... sad.gif
