I think the driving should be the most important focus during development. It was horrific on SR2.

Oh, and they could spend a bit more time on the PC port too.

The only news we got on sr3 is that developers said they are going to take the game in a totally different way, no more gangstas.

Definitely, also i think they should use a new physics engine, i just hated when you fell off a roof and you looked like a blow-up sex doll. Still the fun was there to be had. I hope they don't stray too far from it like IV because that's what people bought the first 2 for.

I'd like better driving too, it was annoying in the first place but with the speed bug on windows 7 which I couldn't get fixed it was nearly impssible, and maybe if they got more of their own ideas and made it less similar to gta it could be better.

The one thing I loved about SR2 was the quality and humor in cutscenes.

Only thing they should sort out is the driving like the fact you don't feel your going about 2mph when you're probably going over 100. I'm sure if I played either again I'd remember more. Oh and f*ck those impossible side quests like the drug trafficking and escorting because some of those were near impossible. Other than that, I just loved them for how f*cking stupid they were. Bring back more of the ''Cops'' side quests to they were funny.

I thought saints row 2 was awesome, so much fun to play!
And thats the whole point of a game is to have fun, so many people are to caught up focusing on "graphics and physics engines" that they seem to have lost the point of gaming suicidal.gif

There was a sh*t load of fun weapons, customisation on everything, and enough cheats to keep you entertained for hours!

And i dont know about anyone else, but i think zooming around stillwater in that little spaceship then jumping out is nothing but epic win inlove.gif

This.

I don't really care if they do drop their 'gangsta' stuff as long as they still have features that made SR2 stand out, like deep customization, activities, online co-op, and some other stuff.

I hope they keep the same physics, having a pedestrian crumple and roll over your car is boring... Having them fly meters into the air and have their spines curled around a lamppost is very humorous.

But basically I'm hoping that it is in development and will materialize.

Drug trafficking was easy if you saved a Bear in your garage, then got it delivered at the start of the mission. The dude gets in whatever car you do, and the armour and unlimited bullets on the mounted gun makes it much easier.

I loved both games, regardless of the physics or whatnot. The environments were immersive and (especially in 2) really detailed and pretty. It was picking up the slack that IV left when it shedded all of it's SanAn fun, an enormous niche that it slipped into seamlessly.

Saints Row 3 was supposed to be announced at E3 2010 but then they pushed it to the spike vga awards where they said they would release a trailer but nothing happened.Instead they announced a game that had its release date as 2013. Volition and Rockstar are really killing me with there being no gta5 / sr3 announcement.

My wishlist for SR3-

To stop using SA as a back drop, and come up with new, and original ideas like most sandbox games have, but unfortunately get shoved under the rug, because they're not as "gangsta" as SR.

If SR3 manages to try something different I'll consider buying it. If it's the same rubbish as the first two games about some random asshole getting into the Saints, and regaining turf in <insert city here> (surely they wont use Stilwater again?) then I wont touch it with a 50 foot pole.

Unfortunately I believe it'll be more of the same just with more crappy, and useless features.

i agree whole heartedly... if someone can find fun and entertainment in even the crappiest game then thats what it was meant to do...

I hope it retains the same over the top comedy...

i can still somewhat remember that line in SR1... it was one of the few lines your character has... i cant remember it but it was funny...

Gaming is for fun. Games are made so people can have fun in their spare time. The majority of shooting games are similar. The majority of sandbox games try to make it their own style, and fail because its not as fun as GTA. So excuse another gaming company for attempting to make a fun sandbox game that has similar features as GTA lol.
