yep, simply because when I say that it is obvious for which platfomrs it'll be available I'm talking about current-gen, but then again the Wii is a part of the current-gen as well but I'm still just referring to PS3 and 360 and not the whole current-gen. ANd since the Wii U is apparently on par with the PS3/360 theres no reason to exclude a Wii U nor a Vita version.

Wii-U wasn't even announced until what, summer last year? GTA V was already in development... so no, don't get your hopes up about it being on a system that wasn't even announced before they started working on the game... not at first release anyway

Companies have to have the development kits before the consoles are announced or else there can't be launch titles. There is no reason for GTA V to not be a launch title on the Wii U (not Wii-U).

According to an article I just read At IGN, I think developers have come forward to say that the WiiU is not even close to on par with PS3 or Xbox 360. Don't have time to look for link.

Good question, I'm no expert in this area, but I wouldn't think so because for one, they didn't say what the available platforms where, or what platform the trailer was made from.

Could be wrong though.

Possibly, but that footage was clearly PS3 or 360, so it wouldn't matter. (Don't have the energy to try and count the pixels to confirm which one it is.)

I believe R* never confirms platforms in the first trailer. They never have i think. But looking at the graphics id say its a given it will be on PS3 and 360.

I think that R* want to get everything just right on each system, so that R* would not have to delay the game. (Or release the game on PC/PS3/XBOX360 but have GTA V not work right on one of the systems)

P.S: By not working right, I mean kind of like if R* released a bad port on PC, which in turn would end up having many bugs and glitches. (I heard that this happened with IV, but was quickly fixed via patches/updates.

No I am not a fanboy, I just wanted to point out what could happen. Even though the chances of that happening are very slim. and I will be getting V for PC, 360 and PS3.
