Hi, I'm just learning piloting and have a question.

When I'm circling someone and firing at them, I feel like I'm just hoping for the best that I'll hit them. When the player is quite far away it's a bit easier because the left and right tracers merge so it's a more pinpoint. A lot of the time it seems like I'm circling someone, and the 'sparks' from where the bullets are hitting seem to be flying off the player but I'm not actually hitting them.

Are there any tactics for where to direct your aim. I.E. should the bullet tracers lag just slightly behind the player. Should I focus on one of my guns only and aim with that?

Are there any good web pages / tutorials that talk about this?

I don't usually bother with glitches, but have had to use them because of the heli-trolls!

I try to be nice to everyone I meet, but I've never met a kiwi that wasn't a c*nt..like you.

The OP isn't looking for tips, he's asking for advice on trolling, something you obviously love.

I've not lost a deathmatch in ages. People kick me out them all the time for being too good. I'm a little bored of ground combat (near respawn is the worst) and want to try something more skilled and challenging. So piloting is the logical next step.

If piloting is unfair, then what else is unfair? Playing against noobs must be unfair. Playing someone less skilled must be unfair. Killing them before they get to a decent weapon... you see what I'm getting at.

No offence but from reading your posts it seems to me your sense of proportion is skewed. It's just not that big a deal, it's a game. I understand it can potentially get frustrating to play an accomplished pilot. But actually if you really think about it there's always a way to fight back, or simply avoid them.

I think the pathetic one is you. You expect people to play by your stupid little rules, this is GTA a SANDBOX were your supposed to have freedom and do whatever you want, especially freemode in the airport.If you have a problem with the way people play, then deal with it or don't play at all

As for the question, To be able to kill someone easily with a chopper first you have to be a great pilot to handle all the maneuvering you will need to do if the players are a little experienced and know how to evade the chopper . Don't get too close or too far away from them and just go all out on them, or you can always mow the lawn like they say:devil: so train a lot with your chopper and then use then guns. I suggest using the chopper cheat code in single player and try killing ppl or police.

If you going to use it for trolling then you should gtfo right now. I use it for self-defense, usually I'm better than the person who kills me first.
@ tj learn to use the chopper and master it. When a troll gets you, grab a heli when he's distracted and then use your skills after shooting him down kill him continuously until he leaves.
There is no way to fight back if the noob is using rockets, and to avoid is almost impossible since they always try to kill you.
A more logical step is to master drive-bying or something else.

When these people get good at this so-called "piloting", they rotate around people who are on the ground (rather than take on other pilots)and kill them. When they're rotating at such great speed, you cannot hit them, regardless of what weapon you have, you cannot possibly defend yourself. It's lame! Arseholes like you are ruining the game.

@gpcguy1 - I hear ya, mate. But the point is, I shouldn't have to.
I'm sure there are plenty of others who agree with me, whether they post or not.

I'm a somewhat good pilot and I try tho fight those bastards on my own, what I use is the good'ol Annihilator, it's faster then Buzzard so I strike fast and fly away, and when I'm far enough and they try to catch up to me I turn around and spray them again until they die.

Absolutely! I kill pilots all the time. But once again you've not read my post through properly.
When they get good at it, they rotate on a high angle and at such speed that you cannot defend yourself adequetly.

I hated choppers, but instead of crying about something I couldnt control I figured I'd do something about it. Learn how to fly.

No. Not everyone does that in the first place. You make it seem like everyone in the ground are just helpless babies. I think you had many frustrating experiences with pilots and now hate them. You would have to be a super pilot to be doing what you are saying. I have only met 1 like with those skills and even then it wasn't impossible to take him down. Deal with it because crying about it wont change nothing. It's called FREE mode for a reason.

And Yes Im a good pilot but I dont spend my time trolling the people in the ground so you saying I ruin the game it's nonsense.

That is one of the dumbest posts I've ever read. You really haven't a clue.
I have no problem with people flying helicopters. I have no problem with pilots taking out other choppers, or even attacking cars.
But when they target someone in the middle of the f*cking airport runway in such a way that they can't possibly fight back. That is indeed pathetic and cowardly.

if you know the game so well you should know that 4 of the 10 attack choppers are at the airport and that the airport is where pilots kill everyone, get in your car and drive away.

anyway as I pm'd you Taken, practice on the beaches and those planes that taxi the runway. It wont take you long to get the skills you need.

I almost took out a pilot with a pistol with no AA but he got a health pack, you can defend but because of health packs.
