Good news, especially for me, lol, anyways, I got it working, without that ZLIB20 -error!!! smile.gif Only thing, what is annoying, is that, the game crashes, in... 50 seconds, still, but no ZLIB20 -error. :l ...
Edit: It came back!! mad.gif F*ck! WHY. IT. WON'T. JUST. GET AWAY!? mad.gif I hate GTA IV's bugs & glitches, more, and more, and more! sneaky2.gif
Rockstar, failed on it... =.=

As per the other thread I just posted in,

Get your hands on another set of installation media, and reinstall using that.

Confirmed working.

I was LANing this weekend just gone. A friend was having the trouble you speak of. We did a bit of searching. ZLib is a commonly used compression library. We figured it was probably an error uncompressing something. Given his crash always happens in a few given areas of the map, we figured it's probably a corrupted texture or some such.

He had reinstalled 3 or 4 times using his disks. Never worked properly. He reinstalled using mine, worked perfectly.

Enjoy the game! (I know I am!)

How the hell I could install my game, without that f*cking annoying ZLIB20 -error?? Cause nobody of my friends don't have GTA IV on pc, only on ps3...>_<
I hate that.. But what could fix that problem? -Downloading the game? -Or... Buying a new one? Lol! -Or... Shut the f*ck up, only? moto_whistle.gif
What could be the answer? Oh, and how I could install the game, again, if I download it, and I get "iso" -files? So what I do then?? mercie_blink.gif
This comes so.... stupid... wow.gif

Calm down, for one.

Do you have any other PC you can install it on? Or at least install the game over the network on you PC from some other DVD reader?

I am pretty sure this is a texture missing error. I usually get it when I import a broken texture into the game. The way I solve it is just to check the latest cars or whatever I importet with sparkIV and then importing something else that works in it's place.

Hope this helps.
