I noticed this great game yesterday, isīt called Advent Rising.
http://www.adventtrilogy.com/
Now, the proplem is. I am trying out a new experiment. Where I take my hype for GTA: San Andreas down to almost zero.
(So the game feels greater when I am getting it).
So when I noticed this game. I almost gave up GTA: San Andreas for this game.
What I would like you guys to do is, write some things down about why I should get GTA: San Andreas instead of this game.

Please. dontgetit.gif

Why do you compare Advent Rising with GTA:San Andreas? It is a totally different kind of game. Advent Rising is a science fiction game. I know the game, and don't think it is very special. How can you say it is great? It haven't released yet, and as far as I see, I don't think it is even as good as Half Life 2.
After you've beat the game, I don't think you will have the mood to play it again, but for San Andreas, there is great freedom, the replay value is hell a lot higher then that Advent Rising.
Here are some screens, really that great?

Well, however I am interested in F.E.A.R and Battlefield 2, which they release on the same date of SA's release. I think I will play them, but not replacing GTA:SA.

I actually think I can buy GTA:San Andreas and when I get tired of that game (after about 2.000.000 hours, just kidding colgate.gif).
Then I can buy Advent Rising.
Not to go off topic, but it is just that this game is maybe finally a game I can follow. (The same way as you guys are following GTA:San Andreas

well if you can only buy one of them... I'd advise you to buy GTA:SA.
The main reason is... you will finish this game and get tired after a few weeks... not with GTA: SA. smile.gif

Yeah advent rising does look awesome but how much are u gonna get out of it.I personally compare all games to gta no matter what category because gta would swallow all of them whole without even cooking them. This is like unlimited gameplay helllo.U shudnt even have to think of buying advent rising over gta sa.The game speaks for itself-as far as i kno 20 million copies for the ps2 have been sold
