In that case, it's no longer a 'what the f*ck?!' moment, it's more like a 'who gives a f*ck?' moment now. |
Maybe in India it's like that but Liverpool's not a third world country. It's a WTF moment for myself and other citizens here because there's been more shootings here in the last year then ever before. A boom in gun crime classifies as WTF imo. | It was a tongue in cheek comment since after so many shootings, one would probably stop caring. That's how we Indians have stopped worrying about terrorists and bombings. Way to get offended. Typical scouser.

I had a pretty awkward and strange day today. I went to a job interview, my first one ever actually. I wasn't really nervous but I did manage to say one stupid thing. The interview went quite OK actually, though I probably should have said more things, I kind of kept my answers short.
So, the "wtf" moment was when I left the room where the interview took place, I said "goodbye" but for some reason I didn't stop at that, I also said "or maybe we'll see each other later". She laughed and said "yes" from what I remember. As I left the room I realized how stupid that sounded and that I was wrong. She told me to stick around in the waiting room for a few minutes, that's why I though that "we'll see each other again". In fact I was supposed to meet with this other woman which I did eventually see, but then the person at the reception told me they'll call me in a few days and that I can go home.

If I were the interviewer I'd view it as a sign of confidence.

I didn't mean to be offensive pal as i did think you were joking around and i wasn't offended either for the record , usually i wouldn't care too much as it isn't uncommon but it scares me to think that one of my cousin's little children (3 of them under age of 5) could be caught in the crossfire if they play in the street . I only used India as an example cause you girish know what it's like worrying about some tit with a gun deciding to play god. I'd say the worlds gone mad but it's always been mad hasn't it, human beings by nature are arseholes.
