Just wondering if anyone else has this happen? It occurs when you pull out from Doherty garage, drive up the road just past Wang Autos then the game kind of freezes for 0.05 of a second then continues. Is it just the game loading a new part of the map or is it just my cd? It happens when flying over the map too in some parts like when entering LV

Shouldn't happen. The only pauses are when changing from exterior to interior scene. check for overheating, dust on disc/lens. Power surge from an appliance on the circuit.

Its not the disc that's clean and I cleaned out my ps2 so there's no dust inside. Maybe its a tiny scratch on the disc that I can't see. Oh well I can live with it or might just get a new one

Before you go to the expense of a new disc, can you try it in a friend's PS2?
You want to be sure to rule out the console.
