I am playing gta 3 on my iphone 4 and I'm trying to complete all the side missions like hidden packages, rampages, stunt jumps, paramedic, vigilant, ect ect before I even get past the second mission for Luigi. I know how to get to the second and third islands before unlocking them without using cheats by using the tunnel glitch to get to the second, and then just using the underground tunnels or subway to get to the third. But I need to know if it is possible to get the blista (for example), from the second island to the first? As I want to complete the import/export in Portland.

Can anyone help?

Thanks, but it keeps saying the video is unavailable? Could you post the link instead of embedding it, or explain to me how to do it? Would be much appreciated. smile.gif

Impossible. There is no way you can get an FBI Car and a Rhino (if playing without cheats) so early in the game...

Yes I know, but I want to complete as much as I possibly can. I'm only really trying to get the blista as I've already managed to get the dodo to Portland import/export and the blista is the last one on the list. I noticed while doing vigilant missions in Portland some of the crimminals have cars that you can only get from other islands, maby I could get the blista that way?

It is not impossible to get the garage one done though wink.gif
However, the FBI and Rhino can be easily obtained following Last Requests which is not too far away from the first mission

Also, Vigilante and Firefighter missions are the best ways to get the vehicles for the garage (Blista) but it can be tricky to obtain (Unless Criminal crashes and drives into the wall continuously. For now I'd try both ways to see which one you prefer wink.gif

I tried to get the blista into the back of a boat and take the car to Portland aha but the car kept falling out the boat, then I realised that when a car is in the water it doesn't sink, it floats, so I pushed the blista in the sea and tried to push it to the beach in Portland with the boat which would have worked but it would have taken me hours so I gave up and thought there must be an Easier way if I keep looking online. Can someone please tell me the name of the video that someone posted in this thread so I can search it on YouTube, because it won't let me watch it here for some reason. Thanks

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwPzA7qpI8 GTAKid fixed the link in his earlier post. Not sure what you mean by "won't let me watch it", but it's called "Pushing Black Rumpo through the ground in GTA3 ".

Well I will tell you what he meant, When I originally embedded the video 9 hours ago on my phone I missed the first 'K' of the link. So there was no video embedded.

What? I don't understand. The Video clearly shows how to get a car from Staunton Island to Portland. As I am saying this I am trying to do it on my PS3 Version biggrin.gif

Here's how it works: when you are on a Vigilante mission and get close to a suspect, press start (PS2/PS3) or 'Esc' (PC) Don't know what's the button on Xbox bored.gif. Then press the same button again to return to the game. Upon getting back to the game, the suspect will stop and get out of his car, leaving him/her vulnerable for attack (NOTE: after you get 40+ kills, most of the suspects carry M16s, Sniper Rifles, Flamethrowers or Rocket Launchers!!!), and his/her vehicle abandoned for your taking.

P.S. This trick works on ALL versions of GTA III!

Xbox would be 'START' if I am right. Thank you very much for the explanation. I think I have done this once when I was doing vigilante I went on a break came back and that happened yet at the time I thought nothing of it. Also I think it is really funny when pedestrians carry Rocket Launchers, I don't know why

...Especially when it takes is only one rocket to send you to hell! devil.gif

Anyway, there is one little catch here: if after utilising this trick the suspect jacks another car, you will not be able to use this trick again. It is only exploitable on the original vehicle the criminal spawns in.

So, in conclusion, this is an easy way to get the following vehicles: Trashmaster, Securicar, Blista and Mr. Whoopee

I'll keep that in mind because I can never find a damn Securicar! I got a Cheetah in the CG Starter Save round but I didn't save it as the Stretch for 'Salvatore's Called a Meeting'

I suppose that p*sses me off a bit but if you run them over first (similar to that LCS Mission of Donald's with the Ballot Van (Forgot the name)

BTW, Securicar is MUCH easier to get in the PC version than in the PS2 version! Just keep driving along the avenue between Porter Tunnel Entrance and the Subway Station Entrance on Portland, and chances are, one will spawn in a short time. This method is also effective for getting yourself a Bus, Trashmaster, Flatbed, Coach, Patriot, Rumpo and Moonbeam.

P.S. This doesn't work in the PS2 version... confused.gif
