Here is my problem:

So the story starts back a looongg while ago when GTA IV for the PC was first released. I bought the game for PC, and found out my PC can't even run it. I stashed it in the garage somewhere. Anyways, skip back to now, just built a new gaming PC, but the problem is, I can't find my GTA IV disk? Lucky for me, I have the product key, I just can't find the actual install disk. My question is, would it be illegal to download the game only and use your legal product key to play it? And if it is, does someone know a safe download?

To sum it all up: lost the install DVD, but still have the legal product key, can I download the GTA IV files and use my product key? And where can I do this?

since you own a proof of purchase i think there should be no problem . cracks discussions aren't allowed here , use google

I think you should contact Rockstar Support with your product key and proof of purchase, they will tell you what to do.

Sorry, but downloading the game for free would be illegal and as such, we can't provide you any more information on this. You either re-buy the game or you're on your own.
