The Great Democracy is here! In our gang, Citizens have the right to express themselves freely through either their actions or speech. Right now, you're probably thinking that this will never work; nobody will respect one another, because there aren't any rules to keep everyone under control! In reality, if one man hates another, a simple rule won't solve the problem. It's up to them to come to terms or not. So we've decided against oppressive rules, instead let the people govern themselves.

What's unique about The Great Democracy is the fact that every month there is an election held for a President. This is our biggest demonstration of equality, in which every Citizen has a vote no matter how long they've been with us. We're not your everyday "Crime Family" with a self-proclaimed Don.

We all know that people have lives outside of PS3, so inactivity will not result in a deportation. We also know that there are other games besides Grand Theft Auto, so occasionally playing those games instead of GTA is totally fine. Some other games that our members play include Minecraft and Black Ops 2.

The final reason why we’re here on the forums is to prepare for Grand Theft Auto 5. Although we are currently playing TBOGT, The Great Democracy's main focus will be on GTA 5. With over triple the amount of open world as Liberty City, the possibilities of where we will end up are limitless.

Operation: Rain Fire (Public Free Mode)
-This is basically a fall back code phrase for “Kill everyone in the lobby until they leave.”

Hunger Games (Private Free Mode)
-Everyone gets 5 minutes to spread out across Liberty City and gather weapons. After the 5 minute mark, ready or not, anything goes. Last man standing is crowned the winner. No APC’s or helicopters are allowed for obvious reasons.

Defense (Public Free Mode)
-Consists of everybody forming together in order to hold down a certain base. Decent locations include:
-Warehouse in Bohan
-Sprunk Factory in Alderney
-Lost clubhouse in Alderney

Offense (Public Free Mode)
-Everyone grabs an identical car. Someone is arbitrarily designated the leader of “The Pack.” The leader will pick out a targeted player for us all to kill. The goal in this game mode is to overwhelm the enemy by providing too many targets. A new leader is chosen after the target has been subdued.

Operation: Jumpstrike (Public Free Mode)
-Players group together in a helicopter. Pilot gets the chopper in a strategic position, so that the passengers can parachute into enemy territory and cause much damage. Credit for this game mode goes to Daniel363.

Although there is no age requirement to apply for citizenship, the president has the ability to deny anyone from joining The Great Democracy.

1. We will hold a monthly election for a President (Current President is not disqualified from running again).

2. If you feel like a certain Citizen is hurting our team, go to the President with your complaint.

3. The President may veto anyone from obtaining citizenship.

4. The President may start a poll, for whether or not a Citizen should be deported. He is worth 3 Citizen’s votes.

5. The Citizens may hold a secret poll to demote and replace the President if they wish (Requires 2/3 votes).

6. Each Citizen is ultimately responsible for their actions alone.

7. These initial rules may be changed (Requires ¾ Citizens’ votes).

8. Any Citizen will be demoted to Immigrant after one week of inactivity. Citizenship will be regained one week after coming back.



Almost a third of of the way through May and we are drawing even closer to Grand Theft Auto Five's September 17th release date. Perspectives on the four month delay have changed from anger to contentment as many fans are now realizing that this game will be another legend. An example of this is in Franklin's character trailer. Police cars have been totally changed for the better. Now look at how ugly they were in the first trailer.

Almost a third of the way through May and JWilson777 has taken some initiative as president! Burly has been pardoned and let back into The Great Democracy with what appears to be minor reluctance from other citizens. Next, Fergi's idea of having signature vehicles has been passed also by JWilson777. Lastly, his own idea, citizens should all have jobs; not only that, but choose which job as well. So far, five citizens have decided their professions. After all of this action, it seems like JWilson777 will have a pretty lax week, since lil_wardemon's citizenship is expected to be determined tomorrow.

I would like to ad a subject: Operation Jumpstrike. Which basically means the first guy within our team who has the exces to a chopper has to pick op a group of 'elite' parajumpers who will parachut into hostile territory to eliminate a certain suspect or group of suspects. It's fun to do and it's offers a lot of difrent capabilities for a team to regain control over a an area. It's normaly not implemented as a deffensive strategic manouver, mainly as offensive. And as me and Mr. Madness have proven on GTA dangerously effective. Well I hope to ad this operation into our basic way of playing GTA!
just let me know if you like the name or not. It could have also been called operation living torpedo or whatever.
