Hello,
I have finally a pc who can handle GTA4!
And I begin to think it’s a good thing I had to wait so long, because now there is so many mods released that the experience should be really improved.
But in the other side that mean also there is so many mods to try before choosing the bests.
So it would be really nice if some hardcore modder of GTA4 could just recommend me the bests ones.

My config is an Asus G75vw-T2018V (laptop) :
Nvidia GTX660m
Intel i7 3610QM,
4go RAM DDR3 1600Mhz (tell me if I need more because I can add up to 16gb)
Screen native resolution : 1600x900

What I want from modding is the most realistic game my laptop can handle without diving under 30 fps, with no bug, and without denaturing the experience of the game, just improve it, for Gta4.

After a long research I find this config

Should I add them one by one or by a pack, I also wonder if they will take advantage of Realistic Driving & Flying 1.3 mod?

i dont want to dissapoint you but if you install this all mods your game will crash in 15 playing (max.)
ICenhancer 2.1 and all graphic mods require more screen res.HD screens(720 p,1080 p)
running this mod in your res will be like martyr your screen, trust me.
4GB are fine for playing(gta iv uses 1,5 GB aprox).
you can install 4-5 script mods max.(you can install more but it has bad consecuences in your game)
also car mods are messing up your game(make sure you dont install a car which has more than 2 MB, and also dont save modded cars in the parking slots in safehouses)
models replacing haven't got any danger for your game
sound replacing can make your game sound archives corrupt and you can hear some strange noises in game(like a microphone scratch)

any doubt just reply.

There isn’t a good and simple way to improve it correctly? Without crash?
I’m a little disappointed :’(
So you thing I shouldn’t install graphic mods at all?
And just pick some models cars one by one without saving them in the parking
Ang just 5 script mod max?
WTF! after 5 years of modding this is the best I can do one this game?!

yes, unfortunatly.

if you have HD screen, there wont be any problem.

i didnt say 5 exactly. it depends of how complicated is the script(ex:lcpdfr,trainer..).

aacclapd is right if you want to enjoy the game without any kind of frustration , just install the mods you want the most but no more . if you mod too much you'll get crashes even with a CIA rig , as crashes are caused by gta structure . but GTA does not need textures quality improvement in my opinion
