G4 is doing their countdown of the 100 greatest video games of all time and they ranked GTA IV at #44:

I'm not really surprised.I'm not saying GTA 4 is a bad game or anything like that,but most people go for graphics,and GTA 4 is from 2008.

No, what makes this list mean less than sh*t is the fact that OOT was ranked lower than WoW. Just one of many examples.

Lists in general are a worthless endeavour anyway. I hope people don't actually take these seriously.

I support this post. A list like the one G4 has with rankings of the best video games of all time doesn't make it official. Get a grip guys.

Asteroids at #4, Pong at #100? What? Also I'm not surprise at all to see Super Mario Bros. at the top of the list, followed by Legend Of Zelda and a few older/classic/mentioned a lot games.

Personally I feel that GTA IV should have been placed higher than #44. Also no GTA SA on the list? Hmm.

I didn't go through the entire list but if SA isn't on there, then I've to question the credibility of their ratings. After all, San Andreas is the best PS2 game of all time. If that's not enough to get you in the top 100, then I don't know what is.

I wouldn't be bothered too much by what G4TV thinks. Both SA and IV should have cracked the top 25 easily.

same here i think super mario and Zelda deserves their places . these games made me play consoles for the first time and were revolutionary for their time

i don't think SA was that great . bad collision behaviour , awful traffic diversity . i think what saved it , it's that it was branded GTA . i think GTA IV should have been in the top 20 (at least)

SUBJECTIVE OPINION. Do I need to spell it out? Just because their list wasn't exactly same as yours doesn't make it a bad list. You have such a big problem? Write your own top 100 games list.

I think you misinterpreted. ALL lists are inherently flawed for that exact reason. You should've read the second line of my post before looking for an excuse to get mad again. I like you Racecarlock, but you sure are argumentative. Usually for no good reason.
