Ok Im up to the Los Desperados mission.
Im playing this on Ps2 game v.2.
It says at the start to select two homies to go with CJ and Cesar so I did that.
I got into a 2 dr car and my homies couldn't get in so i went screw it and just drove to where Cesar's boys are at the train station. But there's no red marker! So I thought i better go back to Grove st and find some homies and a 4 dr car. But because of all the mayhem my own grove homies were rioting on me so i couldn't do anything. I tried killing Cesar by shooting punching and stomping on him. Cesar was unkillable! All of this that i did only excited my grove homies all the more. They started attacking so I ran inside CJs house to see if there's a save point. Nope no disc in the kitchen! Then as im standing there, CJ self ignites! Im on fire now and screaming, I ran outside and kept burning until CJ died. Now here's the final mystery when I came out of hospital, I still had my weapons which I thought was weird because Katie I don't have as a girlfriend, only Denise and Millie.
Sorry for the long post but what happened in this myriad of problems?

Now dats strange, could be an error. Do you have mods installed??? This bunch of probs never occurred to me. Try again to do the mission and see if it works

Why didn't you re-load the save file when you saw that you're unable to do the mission? Besides, are you sure you've recruited the gang members as you should? Pressing Up on the D-pad while targeting the gang members? Beware because your gang members are the green ones. You should see after recruiting the two gang members a text saying "Go meet up with the veterans at the Unity Station" and after that get in the car with all gang members and drive them there. If you don't recruit the gang members, obviously the red marker won't be there.
I also read somewhere that there's a nice glitch that after playing a game wherein the girls have been met future games using those 'save slots' will allow (for a while) to still keep the weapons even if you don't meet the girls during the current game. Makes it a good reason to overwrite rather than delete old game saves.

First I would suggest you make CJ fireproof.
Steal the Fire Pumper/Monitor truck and go to the country and do the Firefighting missions to level 12. A fireproof CJ is VERY helpful.

Next If you haven’t already Take the Territory zone closest to the Unity Station then you can recruit there.
Else you must have a four door vehicle (Sweet’s) to transport your Gang.
If you're able you can recruit as many of your GSF (upto 7 if you have the respect) and walk to the US. Avoid leading them near any vehicles.
You didn’t use any People Cheats (especially riot type?)… If you did you may have to use a save from before.
Tip: once you have your 2 or more GSF and get near the station you don’t need to lead them into the circle. Just run CJ to the marker.

I think that the problem was the 2 dr car and not having a 4 dr. Yeah i did recruit the gang homies they were green blips on the map but when i drove back to grove st they were gone. I have 95% respect and i don't use cheats. RIOT has been completed normally.
I think this is a new glitch. We shall call it -
'Los Desperados 2 door glitch'

A normal situation whenever you try to use a vehicle of less capacity than the gamg assembled.
Whenever you exceed the range of CJ's influence the gang will disperse.

Tip: Make CJ fireproof.

Yeah I did the firetruck missions up in the Bayside area north of S F it was easier there, went to airport and flew home to LS, started the mission and had a 4 dr car this time, no problems, took my homies and Cesar straight to the red marker. Completed all missions now. Dang that was annoying that mission. I have never had problems with Los Desperados until now. It was because of the 2 dr car and going into CJ house I self ignited I don't know why that happened and the strange thing is that usually the flames go out but I kept on burning until dead. Maybe the game recognised a problem so the only solution was death!
