I plan on getting a wheel to play GTA IV then V with. Ive done alot of searching as far as what wheels people have got working and it looks like it is mostly Logitechs. Althought I am a fan of Logitech Gaming hardware, This is for casual use. Ive seen Momos etc which are pricey in my situation since this is only for very CASUAL gaming of LCPDFR etc. To sum it up I was looking for info on if I really need to spend $150+ to get a wheel that works or if I can buy a generic Thrustmaster for instance which are right around $100 or less.
Any insight on if the cheaper wheels/pedals will work or if they are not worth it because I want the No-Deadzone and AXIS pedals to function properly.
I dont have a problem with the price but Im mainly asking if Im that limited to only those.
Sorry for the long message I just wanted to be clear, thanks for reading tounge.gif

I'm not an expert, but from what I have read in this topic http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=379477 most wheels suffer from some issues in GTAIV. Problems with pedals and deadzone are most common.

Right and Ive only seen people with logitechs able to remove those problems so if I really need to Ill end up buying a G27 or a momo.

much not excited by that kind of hardware myself . i tested a RW long time ago with Sega rally on Dreamcast . yes i know it's been a long time ago , but what i feared at that time were delays in action and i remember that was the case at that time . and it was a very well noted RW . but maybe i'm wrong and recent hardware are optimized , that's essential for driving/racing games . there's also the fixation system that is important , and it's more complicated to fix than a joypad sarcasm.gif
