I don't remember the exact year, but I was around 5-6, maybe 7. My father got Vice City and I remember that my whole family would surround him while he played, with my mother translating as he can't speak English.

I played GTA III for the first time in summer 2002. At the time I was 9, almost 10 years old. Anyway, during that summer my dad bought a Playstation 2 with 17 games (used, but in very good condition) and GTA III happened to be on of the games included. I didn't know anything about GTA before this and I first played the game after my brother had tried it. I noticed that the game looked awesome from the very beginning and I thought the graphics, environment and the car driving looked great. I guess that's why I started to like GTA.
