Here is a PC my friend got a good deal on. Is this one good? http://www.compusa.com/applications/Search...d_2372_B69-0567I'm looking into updating my PC. My current PC runs GTA at High settings. Not maxed out though. It lags here and there, just because the game is a sh*tty port. It doesn't bother me too much though, exept for once in a while I get kicked out of MP games. But even though its a sh*tty port, I'm looking for a PC that will be able to max GTA IV and run at steady FPS. (30 FPS steady is ok, but I would prefer 60 FPS steady) I'm hoping a faster PC will make the bad port not show through. My PC is starting to become a little outdated VS current gaming PC's, but its still very High end VS a regular PC. Monitor res is 1920x1080 Not only the specs I posted above but I have some other options too. A different CPU I'm thinking about is an i7 CPU. (Above 2.4 GHz which is what I got now, and 4 or more cores) I would like a higher end Nvidia Graphics card than what I god (460 GTX) Last thing that would be really nice to have is a script mod to disable the getting kicked out for lagging. (I don't even lag much, and it still kicks me out sometimes.) But what do you guys recommend I do to get the best experience possible with GTA IV, and even other games?

$500 is not enough for i5, let alone i7. Just curious, What do you mean $500 is not enough for an I5, as the most expensive I5 here is $239.99, which is less than $500? Which means by cutting down on some of the other parts-ie. going with a little less Ram, a little cheaper Video card, cheaper PSU and then re-using his current computer case, Disc drive, and mother board and monitor *should* help keep costs down A LOT...There are ways to fit a better processor into a budget, you just have to be willing to make cuts elsewhere.. Cause, in my opinion, it does not make sense to buy a new disc drive, monitor, and computer case if the one you have is working fine-goes back to the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"...Just curious/my two cents.

It's better to have an i3 + good GPU, than i5 and weak GPU.

Got it from DxDiag. Just incase I don't remember the exact name. I didn't put it all in because it would clutter up the topic.

Now, you guys may be wondering about the 32 Bit Operating System. I have two hard drives in my PC. One has Windows 7 Pro 32 bit, and the other has Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit. Reasoning, is some programs run better on one and some run better on the other. I plan to have this same OS set up for the other. I also notice that IV's performance on the 32 bit seems to be a little better than the 64 bit, however I mainly use 32 bit, so the graphics drivers are up to date on the 32 bit. This isn't the full file. If I'm missing something, or you guys know of a better way to get the required info, let me know.
Edit: I could also paste a GTA IV bench mark here.
