I did notice that in LA Noire, if you fell from a high height your car would break apart (tires would fall of, etc.), and your engine would be caught aflame. I think that would be good to add. | The driving in LA Noire was god awful. I was expecting much more from a team linked to Rockstar but hell, they killed it.

| QUOTE (Laufas @ Thursday, Nov 3 2011, 00:34) | | IV had fantastic car handling, people saying VC and SA had better literally blow me away, stop being stuck in the past, in no f*cking way shape or form is the car handling better in those games. | This, i don't understand why people think the car handling from the III era was better...it wasnt! I havent played those games since GTA IV came out, i just can't because of the terrible handling in comparison. Thankfully it looks as if the driving is going to be in the same style from GTA IV and im so happy abou that! felt so much more satisfying driving cars..and not to mention the xbox 360 right trigger to accelerate and left to brake...it just makes sense! will not go back to III physics now.

I personally loved GTAIV's physics, especially in the driving department, yeah it had it's flaws but compare it to III, VC and SA, you could do so much more in the ways of driving maneuvers, or at least I could, proper J turns, and some wicked flips, I mean the III era handling was good at the time, but I don't think I can go back, without raging hard.
IMO: GTAIV's Handeing stomped the other games, but that's just me.
I personally hope for a tweaked version of IV's physics, which I assume we'll be getting.

The driving in LA Noire was god awful. I was expecting much more from a team linked to Rockstar but hell, they killed it. | it was weird -- they somehow made the cars feel like they weighed 6000 pounds but gave them go-kart handling at the same time. it was like some magical force was pushing your car to the side when you turned the steering wheel. if they keep the physics model from LA Noire it will seriously be a game-breaker.
