Dear GTA Forum Member,

My name is Tim and I am an administrator from the Xbox 360 roleplaying community Project Life on forumotion. We primarily play GTA 4. Recently several of our former members decided to leave our community and make a new community called Next Generation RP. Their Administrators (XBL Gamertags: TSA Buzzard, vincesportsman2, Couch Warrior 1), as former members of our community, took many of our posts and copied them into their forums without permission. They took such things as our roleplay application, character information, property lists, game rules, and much more.

Our members feel that they need to be held accountable for their copyright infringement against our website and community. Our goal is to spread awareness to the entire GTA community about what has happened to us so that people can see Next Generation RP for what it truly is, a illegitimate group of information thieves.Their administration lacks leadership, originality, and intelligence as they choose to copy our material instead of creating their own.

We ask that if you come into contact with them that you keep this information in mind. Copyright infringement can happen to any of us who keep information stored on forums or blogs, we are just an example. We have made numerous requests to the admins of Next Generation RP to take down our work yet they still keep it up. Now we are trying to work with the forumotion staff to hold these crooks responsible. If you would like to help us out in our efforts please report an abuse on their forum. You can go to forumotion's main site and file a litigation report. Their site was made by a person from the UK and their site is nextgenerationrp.co.uk

I play NGRP on SAMP... I don't like many of it's RPers, but this statement doesn't make me not play NGRP. Whatever happened between you and them is not my problem, if they've committed something against your consent that would break a law, sue them but don't come in these forums bringing anti-NGRP propaganda because you're butthurt about something. I'm guessing you're an adult so act like one, don't spread useless.

Let me tell you a story, I made a Roleplay using that list of locations... I think I took it from WolfBattleCry's roleplay on the 360 and he had taken it from someone as well. In this roleplay all me and the bankers/helpers in the RP did was change the prices to fit my RP's inflation and etc.

people used the same intro that I wrote myself and am I standing here bitching about copyright since they never mentioned my name? No, I am not, get over it.

EDIT: Oh, and there have been these guys who took ideas from my RP such as Mr.White's "Medical Tier" levels and my Insurance idea. Like I said, get over it.

You're thinking of a different NGRP.
The ones we are talking about literally just made the community about five days ago. They are GTA Console, not Samp. I'm well aware of the Samp group, this new group just has the same name.

They sneakily copied all of our work, my work, our forums layout, and even tried to steal our members under our nose as well. I would not be mad if they made a community and asked for my help but the fact is they went about it like snakes. Most of their members were problem makers in my community with one of their admins being banned for breaking in-game rules and suspended numerous times before hand.

Their rules literally have my name in them still as they didn't bother to change it and are openly taking credit for writing everything. They are going out of their way to say it is their work which is what pisses me off the most. We are simply warning everyone on the forums that this community, mainly it's leaders, are filled with immaturity and shouldn't be dealt with.

I don't know why you got so offensive but I'll just ignore your pointless insults.

Well mate, point is... stop bitching, this happens that's why I linked all those topics which followed the same layout as my roleplay and took what my friends and I had created. Fuggedabouit, if you feel like it sue them for Copyright Infringement but don't come to these forums to bitch and moan about it.

I hardly think overlooking one of the rules, which a lot of people seem to ignore, constitutes making a fool out of the communities but if that is your opinion feel free to have it.
