I've been at this for twelve months now. I like to use scripts because they are the major change in modding and they've worked before on my computer, but the game eventually stopped working so I re-installed it and now scripthook doesn't work. facedesk.gif The game doesn't crash, it simply doesn't have scripthook loading. I've checked the asilog and the address for the scripthook is 00x00000000 which means it knows something's wrong. It just won't tell me exactly.

I have:
Windows 7; 32-bit
GTA IV; steam 1.0.7.0

I have tried countless different combinations of versions, re-installed everything that has to relate to GTA IV (C++, msvcr100.dll, etc.), yet it still doesn't work. I don't know what's going on and thinking about this makes my head hurt. Again, the game works fine there's just no sign of scripts operating.

Wow. Okay then, turns out all I needed to do is re-install "msvcr100.dll" again and scripthook started up like a charm. whatsthat.gif Perhaps I got the right one this time because I remember doing this before. I'm good now (never felt any better); still can't believe that it finally worked as soon as I decided to post my problem on GTA Forums. We're done here.
