In terms of brightness, what settings do you normally use for the ps2 version? I'm looking for a brightness setting that allows me to see the map, keep the gritty atmosphere and not look like a muddled mess on my tv. I would fiddle with the settings more but its that time of a semester.

ahh the biggest problem any gta3 fan facing with in daily basis.. there is no way to get brighter gta3 with ps2 version (unless your tv has the setting for brighter appearance. with pc version, i made two little additions for brighter atmosphere. here, take a look:

I'm pretty sure the game will look a bit brighter if you disable trails, but they make the game look better in my opinion so I wouldn't disable them.
