Driving/Walking problems

When i hold drive button down too long

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Mar 2, 2010	Okay so this is the same with every GTA game i have so when i hold the key "W" down (my driving/walking button) if i hold it down too long it drive/walk when i released it in some seconds and if i hold the "W" button down VERY long it goes on forever and i can't drive backwards then it's like i hold both the forward button and the backward button on the same time. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

Have you tried deleting your gta_vc.set file located (if you're on Windows XP) here: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\GTA Vice City User Files? Have you installed any kind of mods? Where are you got the game from?

Player Hater Group: Members Joined: Mar 2, 2010	Okay i just tried to delete my gta_vs.set file and that didn't work and im on windows 7 home premium and i got the game from steam and no i do not have any mods.

Wrong. It doesn't deletes your save files, it just removes the Main Folder and the Registry of GTA Vice City. You can uninstall the game without any loss of your save file.

Try this, your files might have got corrupted.
